Does not fit on my H&K USP .45 :(

I was excited about getting this. I even bought a holster at the same time to accommodate the attachment. After I got it, I saw that it slides onto your weapon. On H&K guns, you aren't able to slide the attachment on. The slide on my gun is closed on the front end.

If you have a Glock or a Sig with a rail, it will fit. Check your gun before you decide to drop the money on this.

The description clearly states that it "Mounts to rail-equipped pistols and long guns". Well my gun has a rail... At any rate, the light does seem pretty bright and the laser seems to work well. Another thing I noticed was the light switch. It's a push/slide switch. You push it from one side to the other and it stays on. I would be worried that it could accidentally come on in the holster and stay on, draining the battery.

I did not buy this on Amazon. If I did, I would have returned it. I haven't decided whether or not to hang on to it until I get a new gun or to give it away.

I'll post some pictures soon so people don't make the same mistake I did.

So lets start off with, i havn't shot with the light on so i dont know if the accuracy stays. I purchased this light for home defense, but i need to be to quickly remove it since i also use my 45 xd for bear protection when hunting. The ease of taking it off and putting it on is amazing and the laser goes back to the same zero after you put it back on the weapon. What i dont like is the location of the light and laser on off switches. I have fairly large hands and can reach the switches, however my wife has smaller hands and has to remove one hand from the weapon to turn the light or laser on. The xd is a big frame weapon and that doesnt help either. That is about all for the cons. This light is as bright as any tactical light on the market. Like i said i bought it for close quarter home defense, and having the light and strobe was imperative to me. I was really impressed with how well you can see the laser with the strobe on. When it counts i know that all i or my wife has to do is put the dot in the middle of the chest and go to town. I highly recommend this light for anyone looking at home defense and especially if you have family members that are comfortable shooting but just want to take all of the guessing out of a bad situation when it counts. This prodrct is well built, stays on the raip very well, and is very bright.

The flashlight is well made and suitably robust for a nightstand sidearm but the laser is utter crap. Cheap, plastic, it wouldnt zero on my m&p (no matter how much I tried its about a foot left at 10yards and 6 inches low) and wouldnt hold this point of aim after just a few rounds of 9mm practice ammo. Save your money and just get the cheaper flashlight only version of the nebo protec, because the light is bright and so far shock proof...
