I'm not quite sure where to put it, but that's my own fault.

Everything from his paint job, to the quality of the accessories, to his articulation is incredible on this figure.

The head sculpt is solid, a great likeness to Michael Keaton.

I know most people like the new Batman films by Christopher Nolan, but I still prefer Tim Burton's 1989 Batman. Michael Keaton may not be most peoples favorite Bruce Wayne/Batman, but he's mine. This film was really my foray into Batman, and possibly the first film I ever saw in the theater. So I maybe a bit biased, but for me this is the definitive Batman. And this may just be the difinitive Batman figure as far as collectibles for the '89 Batman film. Sideshow Collectibles 1989 Batman figure is phenomneal, but it also retails for upwards of $299. I'm poor, and I think my girlfriend would legitimatley punch me in the face if I spent $300 on an action figure, no matter how bad ass it maybe. This is a more wallet friendly and economical figure for the regular person.

Packaging- I love the box, it emulates the movie poster and print ads for this film. Black with the golden Bat Symbol and '89 Batman font. There's a nice little window in front to see the figures upper torso and head, and some great production photos of the figure on the sides and back of the box.

Sculpt- The sculpt is pretty awesome. This figure in general is on par with NECA's other ¼ scale figures like Iron Man, Captain America and the 1966 Batman TV Series figure. NECA is my favorite action figure company, they get the best license, they have some of the best artists in the game, they do great packaging and utilize very innovative tech to make some of the best figures currently being produced. The head sculpt is solid, a great likeness to Michael Keaton. They picked a good expression for his face. The body articulation is as impressive as a lot of NECA's other figures.

This is one of NECA's best 1/4 scale figures, and perhaps one of their best overall. The sculpt is very accurate, every detail of the the suit is there, and it is clearly Michael Keaton's likeness under the cowl. The paint is also, fortunately, just as great. Some of NECA's 1/4 scale figures have paint issues because they are so large, but there isn't a single issue here. The face is very detailed and realistic, and the rest of the figure, while simple, is very cleanly painted.

What makes this figure truly stand out is its accessories. It comes with two batons which have long metal rods, which insert into holes in the cape and allow him pose the cape around. There is also a grappling hook with elastic cord, which he uses to save himself and Vicky Vale at the end of the film. The batarang folds in three parts just like in the film. The best accessory is the grapnel gun, which comes with a belt attachment. Like in the movie, it comes in two pieces, and you can attach it to the belt. It can be positioned on his belt on his back, or, with some work, on the side so you can simulate the way it pops out in the film. The two pieces of the gun can be assembled, and a piece folds out for the grip. Theres an array of alternate hands to hold all this stuff, and there are no issues with grip. Truly great, accurate accessories.

The cape is also fantastic. It's high quality material and you can have it draped over his body or behind his back with great ease. Articulation is great - ball jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and head, and waist and torso joints for twisting and bending. The ankles have a limited range of motion, and just like in the films, the neck is rather limited. Accurate, to say the least.

Awesome figure. I just love it. Glad to add it to my collection. Wanting Neca to now make the Bale version.

It's quite big, which is why I really like it. HOWEVER, the cape is light, which keeps it from falling right, the hard rubber torso restricts a lot of posing. Other than that, it's a great collectible, and I would definitely buy it again if I had the money :)

I remember when i was younger watching the Tim Burton version of Batman and thinking how bad ass Michael Keaton's Bat suit looked in that film. When I heard that NECA was releasing the Michael Keaton 1/4 scale batman i was extremely excited and i pre-ordered it as soon as they went up for sale (I wasn't trying to take any chances on missing out on this nd having to pay extra money like i did for the 1/4 scale Ironman.)

Once this guy came in the mail it was a tough debate whether or not I should remove him from the box or not because the box is very nice! It doesn't show too much of the figure ( just part of his chest and his head) but it is a great looking box. So after a pretty long debate i finally decided to take him out of the box nd i was shocked at how great the quality is. I've dealt with NECA for a few years and this is undoubtedly one of their best sculpt/paint jobs, hands down! It comes with a s**load of accessories and a few extra hands, my favourite part of the figure is the patent leather look on his hands and feet. NECA even made the batman logo on his chest look exactly like it looks in the film (which is a bit different design from today's batman logo, and the logo on the box itself)

There was one minor issue which kinda get me a bit upset when i took him out of the box, his left arm fell off from the elbow down, and the only way to get it back on permanently is to crazy glue, it does go back on, but i have to force it on and it still falls of if you apply any kind of pressure. I haven't crazy glued mine yet because it's pretty much for display, i haven't taken any photos yet and tried much poses, but if the day comes where i feel i'll need to crazy glue that sucker back on i won't hesitate.
