I've had upper back/lower neck pain on and off for years. Whenever I use this device, I get relief that lasts the whole next day. I also noticed less cracking in the neck. I find that the tension doesn't have to be super high for the device to be effective. Usually I listen to a podcast or read while I wear it. It is somewhat uncomfortable as it squeezes the head, and you probably should wear some sort of a nightguard to protect your teeth, but I don't think that the design with rails is much better. I also use an inversion table by Weslo and it complements NeckPro well. The inversion table helps more with the lower back and hip joints while NeckPro takes care of the neck and upper back. Highly recommended.

Great Item to relieve neck tension,

This item is exactly what I have been looking for years. It helps me with all my neck tension, and it doesn't take long. Just hook onto a door, sit down, strap in and relax.
