5.0 out of 5 stars It works like a charm
I think this was well worth my time and effort to find. The author is an expert on the subject of the Simon necronomicon and makes it understanding to me. Some may not like the book and claim its fake and if that is true then why does this book's fake contents work time and again for me? I'm not your typical run of mill new ager. I'm more of your down and dirty trying to...

I can't believe I bought this thing. It was everything other than what I expected. The binding itself is some sort of simple do it yourself kit, the pages are simple things that could be printed on any home PC. Hardly worth the materials price.

Some may not like the book and claim its fake and if that is true then why does this book's fake contents work time and again for me? I'm not your typical run of mill new ager. I'm more of your down and dirty trying to get it done type of person. I don't care what it takes to do it. This book does it for me. Get it! You won't be sorry.

I can't believe I bought this thing. It was everything other than what I expected. The binding itself is some sort of simple do it yourself kit, the pages are simple things that could be printed on any home PC. Hardly worth the materials price.

Most of the book is just the Simon Necronomicon with editorial addition to it. There is also a few additional texts lifted from online with no credit given. Hardly worth the writers price.

Buy it if your trying to own everything you can on or about the Necronomicon, otherwise skip this one and keep an eye out for the Hay Necronomicon, Liber Koth, and the Pseudonomicon all much better buys.

By the way did you notice that Brother Moloch not only wrote the editorial review for the book but wrote a reader review like he was someone else and forgot to check the anonymous box. Guess he was worried no one would buy the thing.

The only other book he reviews is another I.G.O.S. book. Anything by I.G.O.S. seems to be worth less than your average Llewelyn book but at 4 times the cost (at least!)

This book is written by an expert on the subject. You can see the years of experience on each page. A "how to" book guiding you safely through the path of the Old Ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars worth every penny, September 4, 2003
By
This review is from: Necronomicon Workbook (Hardcover)
I'm an unconventional worker in the sense that I don't follow mainstream new age practices. The necronomicon has fascinated me for years regardless that its not the one lovecraft wrote about.

I was confused on how to work it. I mean parts of it were understandable and easily workable. The rest was fuzzy. Moloch's book cleared up some things for me.

For instance the new sigils he showed how to make for the fifty names of marduk. These are great for use on talismans, they're not seals. A seal is for summoning a demon or angel; a sigil is to tap into that entity's power.

I recommend this to anyone who has strong interest in the simon necronomicon. It's worth every penny! .... Izzy

3.0 out of 5 stars TOO PRICEY, March 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Necronomicon Workbook (Hardcover)
An attractive book to have in your collection, but, as a source book it would be wiser to purchase The Necronomicon by Simon. This has more detailed information on a wider area of this science including spells for most of your needs. The Necronomicon Workbook is better suited to the experienced user for easy to read and find information with its large typing for use while there is little light available. Overall, the only pro this book has to offer is a little extra information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Guide, November 21, 2004
This review is from: Necronomicon Workbook (Hardcover)
The Necronomicon is a complex grimoire to work with. The Necronmicon Workbook is a great guide for giving the occultist a focused and clarified approach to this ancient book of magick. If you work with the original Neconomicon, you should have this Workbook in your Magickal library. I would like to
update this review, its now September, 2006, and add that as I
have been working more intensely with the Necronomicon, next
to the original source documents such as Simon's book, this is
absolutely the best grimoire to have as a critical guide
for working the magick of the Necronomicon.

1.0 out of 5 stars I can't believe it!, July 5, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Necronomicon Workbook (Hardcover)
Brother Moloch has written an excellent chapter on how to create line and circle sigils, unfortunately he uses this to redesign the 50 seals! If this would not anger a god, I don't know what will. Then, again, if the seals needed to be redone, are they really authentic or just something that Lovecraft dreamed up?
