Sanctus Real has become one of my favorite bands, and for good reason. They keep the focus on God in their songs but manage to churn out catchy and relevant songs free of cliches. Their last album, The Face of Love, was without a doubt one of the best albums of 2006, but some people missed more of the up-tempo power-pop songs of Fight the Tide and Say it Loud. We Need Each Other is the best of both worlds, with more musical variety than ever. They took a risk, but still managed to have an album with 10 dead-on tracks focusing on unity, relationships, human struggles, and worship. With We Need Each Other, Sanctus Real proves once again why they are one of the best bands in Christian Music, so if you haven't checked them out yet, you must!

I never listened to Sanctus Real before Creation Fest 2006, and instantly I was hooked. I think I played "I'm Not Alright" about a thousand times that summer, then I finally got the cd. Nine months later, I see them in concert, and they actually give us a preview of their new album, by playing "We Need Each Other". Again, I found myself instantly hooked, and I preordered the cd. Once it arrived at my doorstep, I was up to my neck in homework, work, and yearbook deadlines, but at the end, an hour before I went to bed, I grabbed my MP3 player, and listned to the album, full way through, with no interruptions.

Holy crap, this was an amazing album. I found it so easy to relate to, it all made sense. There were times that I found myself forgetting to breathe because I was so entranced by the string of lyrics, and seemingly never-ending awesomeness.

I can't wait to, once again, see them in concert!

So, give it a chance. Go ahead, listen to it, buy it, and definitely feel free to fall in love with it. : )

I absolutely love Sanctus Real, but when I got their new cd, "We Need Each Other", I was extremely dissapointed. The songs were much lighter and softer, and the lyrics seemed forced and not as deep as their previous albums. I've always loved the bold, clean, catchy guitar riffs of Sanctus Real - you know, the kind that make you want to bang your head and play your air guitar; however, I found none of this in their latest album. It's not bad music, just not the Sanctus Real I've come to know and love. I guess I'll just stick with their older albums and hope Sanctus Real returns to their roots with the next album.

This is a great CD. I appreciated the timely delivery and condition of the product!

More mellow than previous music but still awesome and inspiring. Their heart for Jesus shines through their music.

I purchased this CD because of the song Whatever You're Doing (Something Heavenly) - Track # 4. That song has really helped me get through a heart wrenching valley in my life.

I thank God for bringing this group I had never heard of before into my life. This CD has turned out to be so much more than that 1 track. I recommend it highly and have decided to purchase multiple copies for Christmas gifts this year. I hope this review helps!

Every single song has a powerful message that reaches your soul. It reminds us how important love is and that we are not alone. Excellent lyrics, music and interpretation by this band.

This band may appear to some to sound more like aerosmith or air supply meets christian music. Well, maybe only to me. The nice 80's and 90's sound is a nice throwback to there modern sound as well. This album has plenty for everyone. Whatever You're Doing is by far the best track on this album. We Need Each Other is probably a close second. The other songs sound interesting but haven't quite caught me yet as of the all time favs of the face of love, which has to be their best songs in my opinion. Its a nice step forward for this band. Sanctus real will turn some off but I'm open minded and like their music.

this is one of the deepest Christian CDs I've ever listened to. The message is crystal clear and the concepts are much deeper than usual for a young Christian group.

A very great cd. Third album, smashing hits. They have come a long way in a few short years. I love Turn on the lights, We need each other, Whatever you're doing, sing, Leap of faith, Lay down my guns, Legacy... All the songs are valuable, plus another great feature; if you purchase the physical album, you have access to two other great songs, Hero and We need each other (acoustic), via download. Great music, great buy.
