INXS ruled in the 80s and this song was one of their signature hits. I still enjoy listening to it after all these years. Catchy hooks and funky beats all around.

This tune starts out with some funky drumming and percussive guitar, punctuated by occasional synthesizer and bass rhythms. For me it is a good example of music of the era and brings back memories (in this case of the late 80s) as such songs often do.
The lyrics are unobtrusive and typical of this band. This is the album version and comes in at 3:03 minutes, a bit short for an album version, but good nevertheless. |
