4.0 out of 5 stars Great feel to the bounce! April 3, 2007

I love this rebounder. There is a great feel to the bounce. I've had other rebounders. My last one was very cheap and felt like I was bouncing on a hard surface compared to this. With the Needak I feel like I am sinking into the surface and then bouncing out. Very cool. The reason I only gave it 4 stars was the foldability factor. While I have successfully gotten it to fold, it was extremely difficult (the first time took me over a week to accomplish). I just could not get the thing to fold, no matter how closely I followed the instructions. The directions say to put one edge under a heavy piece of furniture, like a couch. Well, when I tried to use our couch, the rebounder was so hard to fold that it lifted the couch right off the ground and the rebounder still did not fold. I had to finally use the neighbor's couch, which is much heavier. Fortunately, the legs fold down much more easily. So, I store it in the closet, behind the clothes, with the legs folded down. I love the rebounder so much that I wouldn't return it; I just won't actually be using it as a "foldable" rebounder.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not as advertised May 5, 2009
By Mauryne
It was fun jumping on this rebounder for the short time I had it and if I had ordered the non-folding type, my review would have been different -- but I didn't. I ordered this type because of the convenience of being able to fold it and unfold it more than once a day. The problem is that it is so difficult to close that it took a week for me to finally close it so it could be sent back to the manufacturer. In addition, three legs came off in less than a week! Just too many kinks to be an acceptable folding rebounder.

5.0 out of 5 stars serious and stable mini-trampoline January 6, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase
This was purchased for my young child who needs sensory input help. SHe also asked Santa for it. I was determined that it be strong and stable and the reviews of all the Needak rebounders highlight this. This one actually arrived in the folded position with legs down. I can't imagine folding it and toting it around because it's quite heavy. However having the legs fold down is a boon for my small apt. and I can stash it off against a wall. I think it was worth paying the extra money for a quality product. My only complaint is that when the rebounder or legs are folded, a spring will occasionally come off. It requires a pair of strong pliers and biceps to reattach them

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Bought this rebounder a few months ago for my 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter. Placed it in front of the TV. They both love exercising on it while watching TV. My daughter recently mentioned how good it makes her feel. Fellow students have observed how trim and athletic she looks, and I've also noticed how fit she looks. I also purchased the Urban Rebounder DVD, Kids Bound Urban Rebounding Compilation. There are 4 good workouts on this DVD that my kids learned and now use while working out and watching TV. I tried the machine myself and unfortunately with my bum knee it did not work out for me. The machine is well constructed and should give years of trouble free use. Overall I'm very happy with the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Needak Half Fold Soft Bounce Rebounder February 1, 2010
The Needak Rebounder is a high quality product. The frame is strong and stable (I do pushups on it); the bounce is even, non-jarring, and responsive whether I'm doing the health bounce or athletic bounce; the mat is permatron-the best for a rebounder; the unit is quiet; it's easy to fold, unfold, and set-up (just follow the directions), I'm a small woman and had no problems at all; and it's made in the USA (something that's important to me). The unit is fairly priced and you get more than you paid for. The carry case is a nice addition for storage or travel. It's made of the same material as a backpack and the one I received has a large mesh pocket on one side. I also received a book and dvd that has some good information about how to use the rebounder and the effects of rebounding on the immune system. The customer service at Needak is excellent. The staff answered all my questions to my satisfaction. There was no hype or hard-sell. The Needak Rebounder is a solid product backed by a upfront warranty and great customer support. I was more than satisfied with the purchase of this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars good workout,, a little noisy April 9, 2009
I've had the rebounder for about 6 months now. It works fine. I like having it set up so that I can bounce for as little as five or ten minutes at a time. Its great for bouncing while watching tv. the quality of the Needak is good. The springs do sqeak a bit. I don't know if I can do anything about this. I would recommend this to someone who wants an easy and low-impact workout.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Rebounder on the Market November 13, 2009
A friend recommended I try a rebounder for exercising my lazy self. She said they cost $50 on Amazon. After reading rebounder reviews, I decided to invest in a Needak, much more expensive than $50, but it's been absolutely worth the investment. I just ordered a second rebounder for my office. My friend no longer has her $50 rebounder. After jumping on mine, she doesn't like it anymore, plus her cover tore off. I've experienced 2 other name brand rebounders; one caused foot pain in the owner and the other brand was decent, but more expensive than Needak and not as supportive.

I love the Needak so much, I went to N. Carolina to study with Linda Brooks, the famous reboundologist, and soon I will be a Needak dealer.

It's an amazing product that will benefit every person in the home.

I recommend the half fold, you never know when you might want to take it somewhere. It's very easy to fold and transport (especially if you have a car, not quite as easy on the subway!)
