It just wont fit. Three people over the course of two hours tried to get these on my recurve bow string and it just wouldn't fit over the loop.

I almost did not buy this product becuse of the negative reviews about how hard they were to install. But, luckly, i ordered anyway. The 1-page 'instructions' were all common sense items except the last line..."use a hair pin and pliers to assist with installation". This simple phrase that the others obviously missed made all the difference. Pulled both ends thru in less than a minute and now my daughter loves to shoot again. Great investment.

I put these on my kid's bow so he could shoot it whenever he wanted without having to worry about wearing a glove. I tried a set on my hunting bow but took them off because they made my releases feel "hinky". I put that set on my lower power practice bow that my wife uses and she loves them. The only issue is the dificulty of getting them on but if you use a heavy duty paperclip folded in half to thread it thru it is pretty easy then you just have to work it down over the string a little at a time.

No glove needed anymore for my 50lb recurve. Fingers aren't numb after a weekend of heavy target shooting. Ordered 3 more. Should last a guy a season or more of shooting. No need of nock rings, pliers anymore.

These are awesome in place of a nocking bead and glove on beginner bows, but will probably not fit over the thicker wound strings of the higher end bows.

use these while bowfishing, keep in mind that the stronger the bow, the tougher it is on your fingers, I shoot a 65lb. recurve and can go most of the day before I get to picky about shots due to finger tenderness, 75+ shots. usually the shoulders give out before the fingers.

Love em. We have 4 compound bows in the family, mostly Genesis and max out at 45 pounds. I put No Gloves on each one.

I suppose if I had a super He-man 60+ pound bow I might want a trigger with a wrist strap. But for bow fishing or for the zombie apocalypse, that just seems like too much hassle.

Update: We started a club for kids in the neighborhood using these on Genesis and mini-Genesis bows. They help the kids to know where to knock the arrows and where to put their fingers. After 100s of shots they show no signs of wear. We still love em.
