When I ordered this product, I was pretty excited to start using it. My expectations were quickly ruined, however. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this product. It's a scam.
There are several flaws that completely ruin the product's intended effect. First, it says "10 kg" on the side. When I was researching an alarm clock that could wake me (an extremely heavy sleeper) up, the dumbbell alarm clock really caught my attention; I believed that performing 30 reps of a 10 kg (approx. 22 lbs) would work. There's a problem though - in reality, it seems like its about 2 lbs! More importantly, the way in which the clock counts the reps are flawed. You can simply roll the dumbbell on a hard surface back and forth, and each roll will count as a rep. It's also time consuming to change the alarm time. Push "mode" then hold "set" then push "mode" until the time blinks and then hold "set" until it blinks again, etc. The product's instructions aren't even grammatically correct, making them hard to consult. Furthermore, it's way too easy to open the battery compartment, and it's therefore quite easy to circumvent doing the 30 reps when the alarm goes off - why not just pull out the batteries and go back to sleep? The alarm isn't even loud to begin with, and there aren't any controls for volume. Overall, this product is a piece of junk. It doesn't do its job of waking you up AT ALL. If you'd like to obtain something of comparable value, I'd suggest going to your nearest landfill.

I am a heavy sleeper and love working out so thought this would be a fun way to wake up. Unfortunately, when I got it a few weeks ago, I was disappointed. The alarm doesn't go off. It's really easy to use but no matter what I've tried, it just does not work. Loved the idea, disliked the product. Don't waste your money on this. There are better alarm clocks out there :)

Doesn't work
As other customers have mentioned, the product doesn't work. I have just done at least 80 decent repetitions but the thing won't go off. Very annoying. Waste of money. Read more
