I like this book because while it is titled "Negotiate A Kick Ass Salary", the tips Nelson Wang has outlined are more universal in nature... meaning, they can be used in any type of negotiation. An easy read, yes, but be warned: the only way to get what we want (kick ass salary, a project, a favorable decision, etc) is to practice, practice, practice what's in the book.

There was not a lot of new or insightful information for those of us who have done much reading on this topic, or who have experience already negotiating "kick ass" salaries... But I can see how this would be helpful to people I know who feel subjected to be on the receiving end of what they get paid instead of any form of active salary negotiating... A worth while (and affordable) read for anyone who is new to this topic.
