5.0 out of 5 stars One of Rachel's best singles, April 15, 2005

This review is from: Negotiate With Love 2 (Audio CD)
LOVE LOVE LOVE Rachel Stevens, and this is one of her best songs, I think that the original version is better than the Love To Infinity Mix, it is an ok mix but not the best. I was lucky enough to get a promo copy of the Tom Neville Mixes and I have to say that if Rachel's record label only chose to release one club mix commercially they should have chosen this mix. Overall I still highly recommend buying this cd, it is a great song and the video is alright, it is definintly worth having in your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rachel returns with the first from her forthcoming album, April 2, 2005
This review is from: Negotiate With Love 2 (Audio CD)
Rachel returns after a 5 month absence to bring us the sassy, pop gem-Negotiate With Love. This song is definately one of her best which will rival some of her past songs, Sweet Dreams My LA Ex, and Some Girls.
The remix falls short of the original, but still will bring you to your feet. The b-side, Queen, is a fun, energentic song, that challenges Negotiate With Love. The interview is spoken by Rachel herself who answers fan questions that you probably wont listen to often but is worth a listen at least once. The game is definately not the best game in the world but will keep you satisfied on a rainy day. The video lacks originality. Going to boyfriends house and trashing it sounds familiar? It should it was used in Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone. Although there is multiple Rachels in this video. Another con to the vid is that it is the first in which she did not incorporate a dance routine. Definately not her best video but it makes up if you listen to the song. Rachel is better in ways but needs to keep some of her stuff. ex. music video needs some work. Even though the video is lacking the single is great and comes with loads of extras. You need to get this.

5.0 out of 5 stars More, More, More, March 30, 2005

I think that this is one of Rachels best songs! Her vocals have improved and she seems more comfortable when she is singing. I hope her Cd is released in the United States!

4.0 out of 5 stars "Negotiate With Love" proves that good pop music is out there... some American Radio programmers need to take note., July 16, 2005
This review is from: Negotiate With Love 2 (Audio CD)
"Negotiate With Love" is the first single from Rachel Steven's second album and it shows Stevens is maturing in her music. The surf type of guitar riffs found in the song are reminiscent of Britney Spears 2003 hit "Toxic" but that is not a bad thing at all as it blends well with the Techno pop Stevens dishes out. The song is instantly catchy and some may consider Stevens as maybe a guilty pleasure artist, but this tune with its programming and sound effects is cool, pure pop of 2005.

The remix of the tune found on the single is fine as it sticks close enough to the original, but the original is the best. "Queen" is the third track on the single and it is infectious and could be a possible single, unless it is not on the album. The interview, video, karaoke video, and game is strictly for pleasing fans only.

Just a quick note on the video, I personally thought the video could of been a lot better as with it leaning towards techno, the video could of had better imagery.

Overall a great song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rachel Doing What She Does Best!, December 22, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Negotiate With Love Pt.2 (Audio CD)
This is the first single to be lifted off Rachel Stevens's 2nd album "Come and Get It". Negotiate with Love is a very fun, electro influenced pop track with graceful vocals. The love to infinity remix is a great + to this cd. Queen, the B-side to the single is a great song. Pure pop perfection. The single also includes a 6 minute interview answering her fan's questions. a great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Funky Dory Followup!, April 3, 2005
This review is from: Negotiate With Love 2 (Audio CD)
Rachel is back, and she's hot. Negotiate With Love will soon be a pop anthem, and I'm predicting will top charts. This single is everything I hoped and expected it to be. Here's an overview of the tracks.

1. Negotiate With Love - Wonderful song to dance to. Great beat. Perfect lyrics. Everything is awesome about this track. 10/10
2. Negotiate With Love (Love to Infinity Radio Edit) - A good remix as far as remixes go. Doesn't compare to the original song, but still fun to hear. 8/10
3. Queen - Another AWESOME song. Almost as good as Negotiate With Love. I think this song is better than some on her Funky Dory album. 10/10
4. Interview - Not something you'd listen to loads of times, but it's interesting. 8/10
5. Video - Not the most entertaining thing in the world. It's just multiple Rachel's shaking things at the camera. 5/10
6. Karaoke Video. The same thing as the video without the words, which makes it even more boring. 3/10
7. Game - Not Grand Theft Auto, but not terrible either. It entertains on a boring day. 6/10

Overall, this is a great CD. The videos and game aren't that great, but the 3 songs make up for it. Pick it up now!
