No matter what you do for a living, your work involves a vital skill: negotiating. And it is a skill that both sexes use daily. But we dont realize we can apply this type of communication to our romantic relationships as well. The purpose of negotiating is to resolve differences--and thats what lovers must do every day! While in the business world we use this skill to get the best of each other, in the romantic realm we can use it to get the best for ourselves and our lovers.
Riki Robbins Jones, a workshop leader and an expert on gender issues, has developed a groundbreaking step-by-step program to resolve differences between partners and keep love alive. Negotiating Love combines male and female communication styles so that you can achieve your goals and express your feelings. Discover how to enhance your own romantic relationship with:

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book., October 24, 2000

This review is from: Negotiating Love (Paperback)
This book is absolutely wonderful! Dr. Jones has displayed her compassionate understanding of how men and women interact by authoring a clear, well organized, enjoyable book. She explains how the sexes feel and react differently in times of disagreement. Then she teaches how we can obtain an agreement that satisfies both partners in the relationship. She clarifies the nature of healthy anger and shows us how to overcome our fear and use it to gain deeper love. Later, she discusses how we can heal our own old emotional wounds, so they don't continue to interfere with relationships. A long list of research articles is included if one desires additional information. This book should be required reading before anyone contemplates marriage, divorce or any long term relationship. Give copies to your friends. They'll love you for doing so. Couples won't need luck if they learn to use the principles contained in this great little book.

The annotated resource list alone is worth the price of this book. Put an end to warring with the other gender -- this book is chock full of practical tips on resolving relationship issues. And - it's much cheaper than divorce. Go for it
