What can I say about the "Queen of Salsa"? Her music has captivated the hearts of 5 generations from around the world, and will continue to do so for many more years to come. If you havent heard "La Negra Tiene Tumbao", youre crazy! She takes salsa to a whole new and different level. Her music is both traditional, and contemporary. Although this was her last album (due to her unfortunate passing), this is her best. No matter what race, or nationality you are, youll definetely love her music!...

I bought this album and put it on the stereo. You can't believe the energy this woman puts out. It's impossible to sit still when listening to it. Celia is the embodiment of Latin music. The tempo and lyrics will have you moving. You can FEEL what she's singing. "Viva La Celia"

I know absolutely zip about Tumbao except that it moves me to move me. And I don't like to move much. I'm like a lichen stuck to a rock, I sit and vegetate. So I made myself get up and go down to the music store in a local mall. I love Latin music of all types, I am scandalously indiscriminate. I have downloaded Celia Cruz onto my cell phone where I use some tunes as ringtones. I know what you're saying, what a Philistine! but I heard this and simply fell for Celia (no longer among the living, sad to say); she made me an addict. So when I went into the record store I headed straight to the Latina music and saw Celia Cruz and grabbed this album. When I got home and put it on the disc player, the first note made me shoot out of my seat like a corn kernel which had just been popped. Then, very un-lichenlike, I began to move. I moved through all the rooms in the house approximating a Latin dance of some sort, another case of scandalous indiscrimination... Samba-salsa-meringue-cha cha cha-mambo-rhumba, man, I did 'em ALL. I just wiggled my ancient hips and got myself into a real lather. I couldn't stop. The whole album just rocks so conscientiously! And guess what? I lost 20 pounds in one hour! Talk about a great workout, whew! I'm just wiped out. I gotta sit down now, but y'all buy this disc ya hear? Your body will thank you, your heart will thank you, and your mind will zone and you will thank it, later when you can think again.

This is the first Celia Cruz music I've heard.

Based on this CD, I'll be searching her sixty-nine remaining CD's and looking forward to other works by this exciting artist.

I hope to be as productive when I'm seventy-eight.

She has made another hit "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" is hottt! It gives a salsa, rap rythm so any age can listen to it even teenagers!

What can I say about "The Queen of Salsa", once again Celia and her musicians have done it again from the first cut on her latest cd "La Negra Tiene Tumbao", Celia party's throught the entire cd this women what she can do with her voice is unbelievable especially on the first cut "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" and cuts 5 and 9 "Carazon De Rumba" and "Taita Bilongo", those are my favorites. Not only does Celia capture the Afro-cuban sound for which she is known for, but she takes it to another level this women is a gift to us all with her talent and she continues to keep is guessing what she will do next she continues to be at the top of her craft and the latest sounds very contemporary for a women that has been around her 40 years and has recorded over 70 lp's yes I am a true fan of Celia, she is out hispanic "Patti Labelle" long live the "Queen of Salsa".......Azucarrrrrr!!!!

This cd was in excellent condition. The delivery date was sooner than I expected and the entire purchase process was convenient.

I have yet to buy a cd of Celia that has kept me in a sitting position, you just have to get up and dance, dance, dance.

To be totally honest, I'd give anything by Celia 5 stars because she is one of the few artists that have captured my heart. She was a natural inspiration of talent, joy and beauty - not to mention her funky flare, "Azucar!". With 50 or so years of music there is something by Celia for everyone which her fans already know. However,this is an excellent CD that even some non-salsa fans I know of loved. With the bonus DVD it's a steal! I would also recommend Regalo Del Alma, her last CD unfortunately, but incredible nevertheless. Truly the only Reina de Salsa until the end or new beginning in the next life.

I received this CD and bonus DVD yesterday and Oh My Goodness!!!! I am having so much fun listening, looking, and Dancing. I haven't quite gotten over, the disappointment of, Miss Celia's passing but, surely now she is up in heaven (looking down) laughing at me...as I jump and dance around the house. I haven't had so much fun with a CD/DVD ever. Thank You God for Miss Celia Cruz ~
