I really liked that this book included many of the jobs that occur in real life. When you are learning to speak another language, there are many words and phrases that are overlooked, but that in reality are the most important. "Jobs Around My Neighborhood" included jobs such as barbers, bus drivers, doctors, and grocers- all of these are words that can be used easily in every-day life and this book made learning the words very easy, especially for children who see bus drivers, teachers, and mail men every day! The guide in the back helped me a lot to see how the actual word was pronounced so that I can use it and teach others to use it as well.
