Basied, but honest review..., February 20, 2007

I am one of the producers on this album (track 8, The Chapters) so, obviously I have a vested interested in seeing this album succeed. So, I wanted to come here and just say that not only is this a strong album, but it's a strong album by two of the hardest working artists (of any age) that I have ever met. They recorded dozens of songs to reach this final product that I believe is a sleeper for '07.
I already see that a few people have reviewed the album and said that they were pleasantly surprised. I think that anyone who is a fan of rap music and hip hop will feel the same way. This album could easily be filler crap w/ a couple of decent songs - but it is far from that! This is an album full of well crafted songs and smooth deliveries of good lyrics. Club bangers and deep thought provoking album cuts. A well rounded collection of music.
In short, give this album a shot. You won't be disappointed.

This album is excellent! It has good beats and flows. Was very surprised to learn that these guys are so young... I think that these two have a great future ahead and am looking forward to hearing what they will come out with next...

When I bought this album, I figured it was going to be just another worthless piece of nothing. And when I listened to it I was in total shock.

Unexpected, February 20, 2007

This album was very unexpected quality. After the Magic City promo feat. Candy Hill.. I almost thought he would have a hot album. But this definitely surpassed my expectations of 2XL. I would give it a 4.5/5 if I could. It's got a lot of bangers and is 100% worth your money. Thanks for these hot releases dude.
