I got this for my hubby for his Birthday and he LOVES it!! He won't use these bits all that often, but when you need one you NEED ONE, and they're hard to find. It was a perfect addition to his tools. The price was great and Amazon is always the perfect place to buy things as per their return policies.

I am a professional automotive technician I use this set daily have not broken or had any problems with this tool and have been using them for 9 months.Will buy another set for home use .

Bought this set to work on my new car since it's European and uses a lot of the torx bits. The bits and sockets are all nicely finished and securely fit into or on the screw being worked on. Since I'm only a home enthusiast and only sporadically need these type of bits, it's hard to say what the long term durability will be but they see quite well made and the finish is quite outstanding. Don't think for what I use them for that they will fail me in any way. Price is excellent.
The only issue I have with the set is a small one: the case is the molded blown type that is supposed to grab each bit and have a place for each bit, but the space doesn't always grab the bit/socket properly or adequately so the bits may not always stay in place if the kit is kicked or jossled.
However, if you are the weekend warrior that needs a full set of torx bits, you can't beat this price.

I have owned this set going on two years now and it has meet my expectations and performed as designed on everything I have used these on. Picked these up for a good price then and have been in use since. I would recommend this set.

I recently purchased a 2000 Volvo V70 XC AWD and found myself in need of some Torx bits to do anything on the car. The day this set arrived I was able to change all the spark plugs, put on a purge valve, tighten down loose bolts, and tighten down assorted trim pieces as well as fixing several broken interior trim pieces.

Well worth the price and it saved me hundreds of dollars so far by doing my own repairs.

This is the 2nd socket set I've purchase from Neiko (the first being their Hex socket set), so I knew what to expect.

This set is a fantastic value. It comes with a complete set of Torx, both internal and external, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2, and many of the internal torx bits have the security hole that gives them much greater application. They range from E4-E18 and T8-T55.

In terms of construction, they are nicely made, particularly considering the cost. The entire socket portions are made of chrome steel, and the internal Torx bits are made from what looks like carbon steel. They are size very accurately and fit well into Torx screws and nuts. I didn't try them on any Torx nuts. The plastic case is padded, and is a nice way to keep your sockets from getting lost.

There have been some comments about the fragility of these sockets; they do not seem particularly fragile in use, although I was not applying high amounts of torque on smaller bits that may cause problems. They aren't designed for air-gun use, so I don't think I'd use them for that purpose.

My summary is that if you work on Torx screws, bolts and nuts all day, you might consider getting a Snap-On set, but this set is 1/10th the price and more than adequate for the weekend mechanic. I don't think most people will be disappointed.

I purchased this socket set in order to replace an actuator gasket and valve cover gasket on a 2007 BMW X3 3.0 si. The set worked perfectly and is a must-have for DIY work on European cars. The sockets are sturdy and offer many different sizes. As with most reviews the case itself will not hold the sockets in place so if you drop the case the sockets will fall everywhere. Just be smart regarding the placement of the case when using these sockets.

I found this set of Torx bits to be fantastic as it offers the odd sizes and types like the security bits that are hard to find. For your weekend mechanic, this set will cover most of your need when you work on your car and come across that odd type of bolt. It's been especially helpful when I work on my Porsche, which comes with a variety of bolts that aren't covered in the standard set of sockets.

For the price, it's hard to beat this set.
