It Works But Don't Forget to Click It a Few Times Before Each Use,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Neiko 3/8-Inch Drive 120-960 in/lb Adjustable Torque Wrench (Misc.)
This torque wrench is adequate considering the price. Before you use it you need to hold the drive fitting with another wrench and click and release it a few times to lubricate the internal mechanism. If you don't do that you'll find you are over-tightening stuff. They mention this in the instructions but just in case you are like me and aren't big on reading instructions I thought I'd pass that on.

Wrench seems of decent quality, all in all I think this is a good deal. It has a really good range 120 to 960 in/lbs.
However I rated it 3 stars due to 3 issues. If you need NM (Newton Meter) markings, this does not have it on there as stated in the description. You have to calculate it based on the 2 types of markings on the wrench Kg/m or inch/lbs. Not too hard to do and they have included a conversion chart. The other issue is the instructions are not too good and they say the owners have to periodically calibrate and service it, however dont provide any instructions on how to do so. For lower torque applications below 120 in/lbs you will have to buy another wrench (not an issue but just thought Id mention it). They say you should not turn the handle below the lowest setting, this can happen way too easily. The third thing is that the picture of the wrench on amazon does not look any thing like the actual wrench you will receive. The one I received looks way cheaper and the switch is different. This actually kind of pissed me off. All in all I still think it is a good buy based on the price, if you can figure out how to calibrate and service it. Will have to research this.

I needed it for a timing chain replacement on my truck. Rating is based on supposition, since I can't check its accuracy. It seemed to work fine. It is reversible, but checks torque only in clockwise direction. Marked in inch/pounds (divide by 12 for foot/pounds) and M/Kgs. I don't know why manufacturer uses inch/pounds instead of foot/pounds, as it adjusts in increments of foot/pounds. I saw other wrenches with very similar photo and description, so I get the feeling that this wrench may be sold under several brands.
