Nella stanza 26: brief, but very entertaining (again),

Nek fans will only be disappointed by the brevity of this release (approx. 36 min.). This CD features songwriters not on other Nek releases, but I did not find any surprises. Nek's sound remains very much the same. If you enjoy his "Best of" and the last two CD-album releases, you'll more than likely enjoy this one, too, as it is very entertaining and among his best -- every song could be released as a single.
N.B. Nek is a great listening-comprehension aid for Italian-language students: the lyrics are sung clearly and they are included in the CD's booklet. Nek's latest CD release is UN'ALTRA DIREZIONE (2009), also available as a Spanish-language release, NUEVAS DIRECCIONES.

His Best CD!,

I've been listening to NEK forever, i have all his CD's and i can honestly say that this one is the best one so far, it's awesome! I do agree with one of the comments above that some of the songs are kind of "cheesy italian pop" but non the less what i like about this one is that cheesy or not the ideas and meaning of the songs blend together beautifully, and the MUSIC! the best music in all his CD's! Awesome soulful sounds for a lot of them, beautiful over all. I actually love every song in the CD, which is rare for me. A must have if you like him. Don't worry if you don't know italian, it doesn't matter, to feel the music you don't need to understand the words.

I like all of his music, even though you could consider some of it very cheesy Italian pop. He has grown up though with the last 2 discs. On this one his voice is as beautiful as ever and the songs are just pleasant and soulful. Definitely one of his best CDs so far.

I bought this CD when I went to Italy and I can't stop lisining to it. This is the first Italian CD that I own of him and I was missing a lot. Nek sounds much better singing in Italian!

I like much more all the other cds than this one,

I like too much the songs, voice and interpretation of Nek, however I like much more the other cds of Nek. This Cd is acceptable but it is not great and it is very expensive for the content. Because I am a fan of Nek I bought it but it is the Cd which have liked me less among all.
I hope he records more cds as good as the others. |
