The best map of Manila but....
I have several maps of Manila (Periplus, E-Z Map in addition to Nelles) and I feel the Nelles map is the best available outside of the Philippines. Remember, Manila is a huge sprawling place. It's not realistic to expect any single map to provide every detail. If it tried to, the map would be huge and unwieldy. The Nelles map does the best job, better than Periplus...

Missing too many street names.
What is the point of a map, if it doesn't show the street names? Most major, and some minor streets are named, but plenty of them are not. So far, I've located only 1/2 of the places I was looking for with a pair of cross-streets. On the other hand, I couldn't find any alternative maps.

I have several maps of Manila (Periplus, E-Z Map in addition to Nelles) and I feel the Nelles map is the best available outside of the Philippines. Remember, Manila is a huge sprawling place. It's not realistic to expect any single map to provide every detail. If it tried to, the map would be huge and unwieldy. The Nelles map does the best job, better than Periplus. Once you get to Manila buy detailed Accu-maps of the district you are interested in. They will show every street and many individual buildings.
