Good storys
DeMille is a great story teller and knows how to build to a thrilling climax. These abridged audio CDs are perfect for car trips or flights. Makes the time pass quickly and enjoyably.

OK, but they're abridged
Eh, I must have misread the description, but these are abridged versions. Not my preference. They are what they are, though.

For those who like DeMille this is a pleasant little collection of audio books for your listening enjoyment. As with all abridged versions you are not getting the full character of the book but then thses are not up to the standard of DeMille's later books so not much is lost in the trimming. I liked Volume 2 a little more but all in all, I found this collection to be good adventure yarns and feel this compilation is a great deal $$$wise. bg

Very good stores, but I know the books were very long and these are really short. I would have liked for them to not have been so abridged.
