It is small (4" wide x 6" tall x 1 3/8" thick) and yet VERY readable! I wear 1.5 reading glasses and yet I can hold this at a good distance and read the font. Perfect for a side pocket in the car door. It's amazing how many words are actually in this little pocket-sized book.

Take a word heading like "first-begotten, firstborn" and you will find the Old Testament meaning of the word along with the Hebrew word it was translated from. In this case, the Hebrew word for first-begotten or firstborn is listed as "bekor". It has the Strongs number associated with it in parens (1060) and the meaning in quotes which is stated as "firstborn". A description is given of its meaning and historical context. The next category will be the word's New Testament meaning. In the case of the words already mentioned you will find the Greek word it was translated from. The Greek word "prototokos" has a Strong's number of 4416 listed next to the Greek word in parens and then its stated meaning as well, "firstborn". Then a very nice explanation is given as to how it was understood within its historical context.

For travel and on-the-go for your backpack, this is a handy little gem. But I would suggest that the Vine's Complete Expository Bible Dictionary is better for regular use.
