5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case
The Nemesis case is a great case, I have four of them (My two and one each for my kids) Although I do not use the top display feature (I have my towers under desk) it is a handy feature to keep an eye on your system.

There is plenty of room for all my stuff and the 'screw-less' design is very simple to use and holds well.

3.0 out of 5 stars Update: This reiview was for the XION 1 (XON-001) case; Amazon changed the product listed here!
I bought this case for my first PC build. Besides getting ripped off by Microcenter by paying 89.99 for this case, I am pretty satisfied with this case, however I am sure there is much better out there.

My main complaint about this case is that if you want to change the ugly green LED lights in the front, it is impossible to get two new LEDS back into the top...

The only CON I have - I drilled out the 'holders' for the side window fan as it is difficult to get clean and replaced with fan screws for easier removal and cleaning.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Gaming Case, September 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: NZXT Nemesis Elite CS-NT-NEM-EL-B Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Black) (Personal Computers)
I was looking for a good computer case to build my new gaming rig. I find this case to be more than "good" for me. It's just outstanding. The blue lights on the fans are cool-looking, everything is well organized, and there is enough room to fit everything I bought for my pc. It also has enough room to fit most high-end cpu coolers. I installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cpu cooler and it fits well.

Pros:
- Cool looking
- Plenty of room
- LCD screen showing temperatures, time, and date. (It can also control fan speeds if connected properly)
- Eye light changes colors...

Cons:
None so far.

Overall, excellent case.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best looking case, June 14, 2010

Before I bought the NZXT Nemesis, I checked out Cooler Master HAF922/932, Antec 900ii,Thermaltake Armor series and others, the main reason picked this one, is the killer look, the actual case looks shaper than shown on the website. (I also bought Antec Skeleton, Cooler Master Scout, for other build)
I installed Gigabyte X58 UDR7, intel i7-930, MSI-5830 display card, 6gb Patriot ram, Intel 80GB SSD, WD 2tb HD.

Many Pros other people have mentioned are all valid.

Only minor con:
-Do not have CPU cutout hole for easy Heatsink replacement, neither wire hiding place, like some other upscale cases (for example Cooler Master Scout).
-I installed Cooler Master Hyper 212+, it hit the side panel fan, so I had to remove it and switch to model 520 Heatsink. But most other cases in this category are not wider, have the same problem for tall heatsink.
-Power Supply in UP instead of DOWN position.

But for its look, great cooling by 3 great looking led fans, and other nice features, I can neglect all above mentioned minor flaw. (those flaws become neglectable, once the build is finished, all you will notice is the great esoteric look, and appreciate its elegance)
Now I am shopping for another build, I have not found sharper looking case, so maybe I'll go with this case again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Boyfriend Loved it, October 16, 2010

I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday present because he's always wanted to build his own computer and he loved it. He started working on it right away. It's definitely durable and has plenty of room for more than what a computer needs. I also like how you can change the color of the lights in the front :)

4.0 out of 5 stars 4 stars, not quite 5, April 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: NZXT Nemesis Elite CS-NT-NEM-EL-B Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Black) (Personal Computers)
Overall, the case is a good value for the money.

Pros:
- pimped out case for $100
- rail mounting system for drives is nice.
- built in monitoring and fan control with temp probes
- mount points for just about any motherboard form factor
- 3 120mm fans. Even with just the stock CPU cooler everything stays nice and cool

Cons (why I didn't give it 5 stars):
- The leads for the front panel firewire and usb ports are too short. With a Crosshair III formula motherboard, I have to use the rear slot-cover port included with the mobo for firewire - the case lead won't reach. The usb lead *just* reaches, but only by running it diagonally across the mobo and under the rear of the videocard. Given that this is an clear-sided case, it's not pretty; no way to tidy that cable out of view. I plan on making new cables myself to replace the USB and run the firewire.
- The paint is ... delicate. Be careful when assembling / removing the side cover.

If not for those 2 things it'd be a 5-star purchase.

FIrst -- the quality of the packing, very well protected, second -- the paint job was much better than I expected. third - the quality and feratures of this case is outstanding, fourth -- the price was great --- I bought 3 --- I have built a i7 computer with Intel 920 cpu and Gigabyte EX58-ud4p Mobo, The 3 fans in the case is great also , the LCD screen, USB & audio connectors is a great touch and exactly where they should be , NOT on the bottom like many cases have them. the only downside is I did not know they come in several colors, I would not have bought all black had I known that. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Glossy Black Case, August 8, 2009
This review is from: NZXT Nemesis Elite CS-NT-NEM-EL-B Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Black) (Personal Computers)
NZXT makes some fine cases and this is one of them. It's a beautiful glossy black with a clear window on the right side. A fan takes up the middle of the window and the side of the case is illuminated by some blue LEDs. The Front of the case resembles a medieval knight's shield and pulls open to allow access to your disk or floppy drive spaces and power button. The power button can also be pushed without opening the door by pushing on a metal piece. The word "NEMESIS" appear on the upper right of the shield and lights up red when your computer is processing. LED lights up the front under the shield and can be changed to several individual colors via a button on the inside of the front door.
The top of the case features a flip up panel that displays your CPU temp, the time and date on blue backlit screen. Also on top is a flip around panel that features some ports including a couple of USB ports, a Mic. port, and a Headphone port.
I've built a number of computers over the years and of the cases I've used, this is by far my favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love At First Sight, July 13, 2009
By
This review is from: NZXT Nemesis Elite CS-NT-NEM-EL-B Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Black) (Personal Computers)
I immediately fell in love with this case as soon as I saw it here on Amazon, and here's why.

-Temperature meter; it actually shows you how hot the CPU is running, great if you are planning for over-clocking.

-This case has three fans so it can get rid of that electronic-killing heat.

-Plenty of room inside for all of the toys you want to throw inside this thing.

Another reason I fell in love with this thing is because it just looks amazing. I had another friend that is a IT guy (like myself) and he just went 'wow'.

So if you are looking for the 'wow' factor, but also all of things you expect from a gaming case, look no further. This case is for you.

P.S. This case comes in different colors, so before you bad-mouth a great case, make sure you order the right one with color you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great tower that I have had for four years., May 27, 2009
This review is from: NZXT Nemesis Elite CS-NT-NEM-EL-B Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Black) (Personal Computers)
I got this case because it looked tough. I searched the internet high and low for a case that would show dominance and yet still be very functional. The pc I was building was my first build. The instructions where great and I also used the website a bit as well. I have had no problems with the case I like the display screen at the top, it was very useful when I almost burned my processor up because I didn't have my fan clamped all the way down on all four sides. Again first time building a computer. The LCD screen showed me that my processor was getting to hot. But anyway the cases looks speaks for its self. There are lots of extras that come with the case. I would suggest it to anyone online I didn't know simply because I would still be the only one I know that owns it. There is just one minor complaint that I would have and that is that it stays dusty as all get out. But that is due to all the fans to keep it cool especially if you over-clock stuff.I plan to build another computer this year and I will be re-using this case.

This case is very nice, unlike Mr C Johnson, I find this case is exactly what I needed. little hint, this case comes in different colors with different LED lighting, my case is black with all blue LED lighting. If you want a case with a specific LED color, order it that way and don't make stupid comments about changing the LED lighting, the front lighting is able to be changed simply by pushing a button, and requires little manual labor. This case is not cheaply made and with all the options it comes with, I think it is well worth the price. oh Mr C Johnson, maybe you should email the company that makes the case "NZXT" they would actually be able to help you, because the "XION" company you emailed probably thinks you are as stupid as I do. "Instructions are great, when used"
