5.0 out of 5 stars Review By a Philippine Nena Fan Who Understands German, May 6, 2005

This review is from: Nena; Die Band [Japan Import] (Audio CD)
This is the Japan-release version of the Nena compilation album DIE BAND and here is its tracklist:

1. Lass mich dein Pirat sein( Remix '91 )
2. Nur geträumt
3. Ganz oben
4. Vollmond
5. ?( Fragezeichen )
6. Rette mich
7. Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann
8. Du kennst die Liebe nicht( Single Version )
9. Jetzt bist du weg
10. Tokyo
11. 99 Luftballons
12. Leuchtturm( Live Version )
13. Unerkannt durchs Märchenland( Live Version )
14. Tanz auf dem Vulkan( Live Version )
15. Satellitenstadt( Live Version )
16. 99 Red Balloons( Club Mix )
17. Just a Dream( Mega Dream Mix )

The first 15 tracks are also what the German-release version of this album offers, but the two special mixes are provided as a bonus by the Japan-release. Of these two special mixes, the real gem is the mega dream mix of "Just a Dream", because the club mix of "99 Red Balloons" is the one already available in the US-produced Nena cd album 99 LUFTBALLONS. For both the German- and Japan-releases of this cd album, the live tracks, including "99 Luftballons", whose ending stanza is a live insert, the '91 remix of "Lass mich dein Pirat sein", the single version of "Du kennst die Liebe nicht", this album's maxi "DIE BAND" version of "Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann", and the song "Ganz oben" make this cd album a must have for Nena fans.
