Review by a Philippine Nena Fan Who Understands German,
By Glenn (San Juan, Metropolitan Manila, Philippines) - See all my reviews
This review is from: ? by Nena (Audio CD)
This was the second album of the Nena band and there is a lot of variety in this album, because fast, slow, spontaneous, reflective, wishful, and/or insightful songs are found here. "Rette mich", "Kuess mich wach", "Sois Bienvenu", "Keine Antwort", and "Der Bus is' schon weg" are what I would consider fast songs, while the rest are relatively slower. "Rette mich", "Kuess mich wach", and "Der Bus is' schon weg" are what I would consider spontaneous, while "?( Fragezeichen )", "Das Land der Elefanten", "Ich haeng' an dir", "Sois Bienvenu", "Keine Antwort", and "Der Anfang vom Ende" are what I would consider as reflective songs. What I would consider as wishful songs are "Unerkannt durchs Maerchenland", "Lass mich dein Pirat sein", and "Es regnet", while I would consider the songs "Das Land der Elefanten" and "Sois Bienvenu" as quite insightful. Hence, I would highly recommend this album to anyone who enjoys listening to really good music.

Nena Rocks,
By Michael (New Century, Kansas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: ? by Nena (Audio CD)
This is what music is supposed to sound like... not trying to fit an image or showcase your latest choreography. Even if you don't speak German, most people will like the sound (at least those from the 70's and 80's).
