5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING, October 30, 2008
This review is from: Neo-Mythologism in Music: From Scriabin And Schoenberg to Schnittke And Crumb (Interplay: Music in Interdisciplinary Dialogue) (Paperback)
A great read for any fan of 20th century music or myth. In this text, Adamenko's writing relies on thoughtful examples in music, anthropology, and mythic studies which gracefully unfold her thoughts. Being a musician myself, I would highly recommend this book to musicians and anthropologists alike!
