This review is from: Neo Phariseeism: An Inside Look at Hairsplitting Theologies (Paperback)
Those who have lived with "Standards" like some of us thot nothing negative towards them as new converts. But for a maturing Christian who is not afraid to question the scriptural validity of the outward "holiness" doctrines of the UPC, there is a real problem. The book of Galatians was written directly to those who would impose manmade precepts. Not a single verse telling Christians to tithe, not a single verse says it is a sin for a woman to cut her hair, wear pants, makeup, or jewelry. Yeah, I know all the verses used to defend, I once was among them. If you are in a so-called "apostolic" get this book and read it with an open spiritual mind.
