4.0 out of 5 stars Fine Introduction for Neophytes

2.0 out of 5 stars nothing neo....
If you never seen shunga and want to go cheap this book is ok.Print color quality is low and all images are well known reproductions. I hoped to see modern artists but was mistaken.
I buy my shunga books in Japan because color quality is much higher and, somehow, their adult manga which they sell at K-books in Akihabara, Tokyo connected to shunga strongly.

If you want a few small classic japanese erotic art images run through a few photoshop filters, then this book is for you. If you want something actually interesting... its not.

It comes in a little cardboard case with cover art.
