A second helping of new underground soul from the folks at Glory Records -- an even better, and larger set of tracks than volume one! Neo Soul United 2 features a number of largely below-the-radar artists Dusty Groove has followed and adored for the last couple of years (Latanya Lockett, Michael Bohannon, Lisala, Mia Miata. . .), but there's also a number of artists we've only now come across, or haven't heard from in a while (like Ladybug Mecca, formally of Digable Planets!) All of which is to say that this one's a real joy to put in our racks -- furthering our devotion to the many worthy soon-to-be soul stars in the underground, and serving as a healthy sign post for things we can look forward to in the coming months and years! 16 tracks: "Little Things" by Dan Metreyeon, "High Time" by Maisha, "Make Love Last Forever" by Michael Bohannon, "If I Need To Move On" by Ladybug, "Round And Round" by Latonya Lockett, "Bud" by Delia Harris, "Utopia" by Keith Robinson, "Come Talk To Me" by Harmon'e, "Music Is" by Mia Miata and more! I purchased this CD because I heard some of the artists on my satellite radio. I love it! I like just about every song on the CD. I highly recommend purchasing this CD.

This is an excellent compilation disc! More than the first Neo-Soul United offering, every single track introduced me to new singers with georgeous voices and excellent musical production.

After a few spins, my favorite tracks are:

MAKE LOVE LAST FOREVER - Michael Bohannon (very Marvin Gaye-esque; beautiful voice & music)

SPIRIT - Theresa Morton (neo-soul gospel at its finest)

LITTLE THINGS - Dan Metreyeon

IF I NEED TO MOVE ON - Ladybug Mecca

UTOPIA - Keith Robinson

LAST TEAR - Lisala

If you like neo-soul and are interested in hearing some new voices, I'd highly recommend getting this disc over the previous one - this one is less eclectic and more straight-forward soul.

I love KEITH ROBINSON! UTOPIA IS HOT! With hot new music from LADYBUG MECCA, this CD rates high in my top 10! Also, I heard that Cee Cee performs "So much luv" in the movie "Hairshow", I am glad to have the original version inluded in this compilation. Martha and Lisala are my favorite female vocalists from Brooklyn right now. My friends and I love this CD! This is sensual soul at its' best! Get the first Neo Soul United too!

This cd is great, it has some awsome artists on it, Michael Bohannon, Delilah Harris, and Harmon'e along with other outstanding artists, it is Neo Soul at it's best, I hope to hear more from these artists.

This is a very up-beat, smooth vibe. If you are looking for some nice words and good different sound, then this is it. Try it, I'm sure you'll like it.
