Something not mentioned in the instructions
on January 20, 2014
As a retired RN, and a lifelong advocate of organics and supplements, I was very interested in trying a nitric oxide losenge. While it is too soon to evaluate it's positive effects, after 3 days I have noticed one of the "unmentioned" side effects. N.O. Can cause a red discoloration of stools, mimicking blood. Anyone who has feasted on fresh beets will be familiar with this effect. I thought I would mention this in case anyone has noticed this and become concerned. Just stop taking the supplement for 48 hours. If your stools return to normal, you can resume without worry. However, if you've not had a colonoscopy - go get one done!
