The NeoSport Sprint John features exclusive Speed Skin neoprene material combined with the company's Ultra Soft Coated Skin neoprene, providing buoyancy, flexibility, and comfort. Five-millimeter Speed Skin neoprene on the chest panel allows for ideal positioning in the water with less surface resistance, while the three-millimeter back panel permits maximum range of motion for efficient stroking. Liberal arm openings further enhance swim efficiency, and the arm area is constructed of nylon-laminated neoprene trimmed in soft Lycra, ensuring a comfortable and secure seal to minimize water entry.

Supple mid-calf leg openings increase kick efficiency and decrease drag, and wider exit openings curtail heel snag, speeding up transition times. The EZ Out zipper stays put in the water, but is easy to find on land when it's time to make a quick change. An adjustable collar provides precise fit and minimizes unwanted water entry, and smooth, narrow contours eliminate neck chafe. Glued and sewn seams increase hydrodynamics and mean the suit will hold up for numerous races.

This is completely adequate for casual swimming in the 60 degree waters of Lobster Cove on Cape Anne. The suit is snug but comfortable for me including the neck. The open shoulders provide far more shoulder mobility for open water swimming than a suit with a more conventional cut. It's easy to put on and remove for event transitions. That said, for the serious swimmer the suit has shortcomings. The buoyancy of the suit does not permit proper body position for swimming. When this is combined with the rigidity of the neoprene about the waist my stroke is changed to one involving too much body roll on the surface. I prefer a conventional non buoyant suit when water temperature permits. In my view using this suit is not really swimming.

I honestly loved this wetsuit!!! I brought it to go on a tropical getaway in definitely came in handy. It fits perfectly and dries pretty easily after rinsing with fresh water. It is so lightweight, several times I just tilted my head back in the ocean and drifted!
