These gloves really are the best. They are the first pair of neoprene gloves that I have ever owned, and I could not imagine renting ever again. These gloves are thick enough to keep your hands and fingers warm while just thin enough to allow you better dexterity and manipulation of tools and equipment while underwater. The palms and fingers have a raised, rubberized texture that allows you to grip easily, and the velcro wrist strap makes certain that the gloves are secured tightly to your skin.

While I am usually a huge advocate of trying dive equipment and wetsuits on first, I must say that this was a great buy and keeps me completely warm for dives in the Long Island Sound and New England.

I bought these gloves for winter use not diving. They feel pretty warm until you start to sweat, then just sweaty and cold. I wanted to get something big enough to wear a glove liner with but I really had no idea what size. I got a large which was pretty much a perfect fit for finger length. My hand is 8" from where your palm meets wrist to the tip of my middle finger. About 9" from tip of thumb to tip of pinky with hand spread. I wish I had got a size bigger so I could wear glove liners and not have this glove be so tight. I hope these measurements help anyone else wondering what size to get.

I already own 2 pairs of wetsuit gloves, but my hand get extra cold surfing here in the Northwest, I have purchased all my gloves from Amazon and I'm very satisfied with all of them and the prices were awesome too. The last order was Neosport 5mm wetsuit 5 finger gloves size XL,,, Here is a little advise from me: If you wear a size L in most gloves or a 3mm wetsuit glove it should fit pretty close to your hand size,, but if you need a thicker glove like 5mm then you will need to order the next size up like I did,, from size L to XL. I'm an average sized guy (6'1, 210) with average sized hands and it's very rare for me to go outside of a "large" sized glove. Having read the previous reviews I ordered an extra large...yep, get at least one size larger than you normally would. I use the gloves for diving in Monterey Bay (water temp ~ 50F) and while they keep my hands nice and warm they are snug in the hand and the wrist. If I ordered them again I'd go for an XL.

These gloves run SMALL. Listen to everyone else and order at elast one size larger than you would. Also, they are VERY thick.

Pretty good for the price but also much smaller than expected. I use them surfing in nor cal (to keep my hands from freezing) and they work fine.

-Easy to use.
-Keeps you warm.
-Good grip.
-Easy manipulation of items w/ gloves on.

-After a few dives, stitching started to stick out in places.

Really good stuff. I dive in a cold water and my hands stays warm, which is what I wanted. Neoprene 5mm does the job.

Alway buy one size larger at least. Good quality and well manufactured. Problem was ordering a large quantity and getting three shipments instead of one consolidation- Amazon needs to improve on that

These were purchased for my FIL but we did not get the right ones. We wanted ones for hunting. However, another family member took them and will use them for snowboarding and said they are perfect. My FIL is about 5'9 and average build and the Large were too small on him.
