Warm, comfortable, and well made. 7mm is rather thick. If you desire greater dexterity, you may wish to purchase 5mm. Good purchase.

I do Ice Rescue for a living where I am constnatly in -degree air temperatures and below freezing water temperatuers. Yes, I know it is hard to grasp the idea of water not freezing at belwo 32 degrees but beleive me it happens. Anyways on with the review. I have large hands and always have had to use XL gloves for any occasion, golf, baseball, bowling etc... I was isssued an XL set for work but they were extremly uncomfortable, they fit yet there was no dexterity and made my hands curl. So, I decided to order my own, pay out of my pocket and with Amazon PRIME, I had no other option as I was in dire need of them ASAP. I can't thank PRIME enough for getting them to me over the weekend and available for Monday's duty call. The thickness is firm yet dexterity is still there. I can do almost any task I can do without them on. If you work in a cold dry and/or wet enviroment these are the gloves for you. Hunting, sking, fishing, camping, scuba diving, or just plane around the house outside in extreme cold weather these gloves will allow you to survive in coomfort and keep your hands warm even if wet.

I ordered these gloves on 1/7/11 and received them on 1/13/11. When package arrived I was disappointed to discover only one glove was included.
(right hand) What happened to the other glove? I gave this review 5 stars because of the quality of the item, now I just hope I can resolve this case of....the missing glove!
