These magnets came as titled, 10 n48 magnetized through length so the poles are at the ends. Description is misleading as it says lot of 30 but I doubt many people read the product description.

As far as refrigerator magnets these things are setup the wrong way. Having been magnetized through the length the magnets are strongest sticking 1 inch out of the refrigerator. If you are using the magnet on its side you will find that these are nothing to write home about and will naturally try to stand itself upright when you try to remove it. But at its most ideal I would estimate it would require a force of around 6-10 lbs to remove. Well worth the money if you have the proper application.

Neodynium, nuff said. The pounds of attraction of these small magnets is GREAT. Fun to use in projects. Warning - don't get your skin between the magnets or the magnet and a metal surface - they will give you a blood blister when the pinch and the swearing will scare the cat. Delivered on time, packed well and were shiny new. Good seller - will buy again.

These magnets are exactly what I expected. They are quite strong at the poles. One thing though is be careful about letting them crash together. They appear to be nickel plated and within a few hours of playing with them one of mine got chipped on the end. I am so happy with them I will be ordering more today.
