Product Description

ONE lot of 30 Magnets. Size: 1/4 inch diameter x 1/16 inch thick discs. Nickel (Ni) Plated (silver-like shine) Grade: N48 - Extremely powerful magnetic material Pull Force is approximately 1.5 pounds under ideal conditions. These discs are axially magnetized, so the strong North/South poles are in the center of the flat sides. That makes them easier to stack into a cylinder than to connect side by side. The metal coating is durable, but ALL Neodymium magnets can chip or shatter. If used gently, these magnets can serve you for a lifetime.

They weren't kidding... For the tiny size, these are pretty damn strong! And make sure you realize just how small 1/4 inch by 1/16 inch really is. They're not impossibly small, but you could easily lose them if you drop them. Unless you drop them when they're all stuck together, then they're pretty easy to find. The first time I put one of these on my fridge, I actually couldn't pull it off, I had to slide it to the edge. But then I remembered that I'm a man and I'll be darned if a magnet is gonna get the best of me like that, so I just used my fingernails to get under it and pull it off. They're still pretty darn strong...several sheets of paper strong using just one less-than-half-the-size-of-a-dime magnet.

If you have kids (I don't, but I know people who do, plus I stayed at a holiday inn express last night), they are definitely small enough for a toddler to make a snack of. But then again, a toddler-type child probably couldn't get it off the fridge even if they tried due to the magnet's strength...this assuming you're not thinking as a parent and putting your magnets down that low.

The gasket on our freezer door had distorted and was leaking air. A new gasket would be about $75. I saw a tip on the internet to cut a small slit in the edge of the gasket and slip in one of the magnets anywhere there was a gap. I tried it and the door now seals perfectly. Those magnets saved me a bunch of money and the job of replacing the door gasket.

These are super little magnets. I put some in my 5-year old's hip pocket and now he's hanging on the refrigerator door.

These magnets are so tiny, but boy do they hold. I helped my daughter make a upcycled spice rack with baby food jars. And they hold great to a metal slat piece.

First of all I want to emphasize these magnets are tiny. They would probably fit inside the letter O on your keyboard. They are quite strong though. Given their size and strength these probably would not be good for young kids to play with. I bought them to use in a small home project and they're great for that and just fun to play with. Keep away from pets and small children though.

These magnets can hold up very heavy knives on my DIY knife rack, but they chip very easily. Don't put then far apart, wanting to witness them cometogether- they'll both chip and become very sharp. I cut myself pretty badly trying to get two chipped ones apart. I would not recommend these to someone under the age of 16 as they can be dangerous in the wrong hands.

I just moved and our fridge needed magnets. So, I ordered these little things before I noticed they were only a quarter inch wide. When I realized it, I though I goofed, but once I saw how much force these little power houses put out, I'm glad I made the mistake. I crazy glued them to the back of river stones and glass beads, and now I have a bunch of cute magnets that are stronger than anything I ever had before. Just as the other reviews suggest, slide them off the column one by one using the edge of a desk. Be careful not to drop them though, as they are teenie tiny little things.

When I opened my package and saw the really small magnets, I was initially disappointed. However, these little suckers are strong! I bought these to display pictures of my family on the side of the frig and also to keep appointment cards within eye view. I'm convinced that these magnets would hold up just about anything that I wanted to display. The only problem is that the size makes it very hard to remove them from the frig and to pull them apart. They are hard to get a hold of. Make sure you know what 1/4 of an inch is before ordering. Probably not a good idea to purchase if you have small children, because of the choking hazard. I would definitely order again, but probably go up in size the next time.
