Product Description

ONE lot of 10 Magnets. Size: 3/4 inch diameter x 1/16 inch thick discs. Nickel (Ni) Plated (silver-like shine) Grade: N48 - Extremely powerful magnetic material Pull Force is approximately 4.6 pounds under ideal conditions. These discs are axially magnetized, so the strong North/South poles are in the center of the flat sides. That makes them easier to stack into a cylinder than to connect side by side. The metal coating is durable, but ALL Neodymium magnets can chip or shatter. If used gently, these magnets can serve you for a lifetime.

I needed to move things around and when I tried to pry them off, 4 of the 10 broke into pieces.

These were wonderful in terms of strength but when working with them it quickly became apparent they might be too strong. In just trying to separate them and spread them out(difficult due to the strong force between them unless you have a huge area) I managed to break 4 of them. They have such a strong force between eachother and they are not very thick.... so they break which if you have worked with magnets you will know in most cases renders them useless for most projects. There is no forcing them back together because the dipoles in each part of the material shift. Overall were a good investment just be very careful when working with them or you may need to buy more.

These magnets are awesome, they do break easily though, so be careful when separating. I used a knife. Once you separate them, group them in 5's or 6's and keep them in separate containers, because when they crash together unintentionally some may crack, and the more you have grouped together, the stronger the bond, the harder they crash into each other.

These little things put the larger horseshoe magnets, or bar magnets to shame! they are super strong, big time magnets in a super small package. I use them to keep my cabinets closed and secure, as they are quite strong I had to super-glue them on I could assume someone could try an industrial calking adhesive to prevent them from tearing off something. Endless possibilities for these little things from home projects(might be overkill, I like that myself) to experiments with magnetism (Mythbusters approve of their use see the many episodes they use them on for examples) the small ones are a bit susceptible to breaking from a long distance attraction I broke a couple just to see how attractive they are and repulsive on the other side (mag-lev is easily shown on these small things) Do not ever let more than 2 stick together it takes a ton of strength to get them apart if three stick together without a plastic barrier in-between them, it can become impossible to get them apart they are so strong! (I had to get a very thin plastic paint scraper and wedge it between them to get them apart with any luck) It would be five stars since they break easily I chose to not make it a perfect score. (nothing imperfect to me doesn't deserve 5 stars)

Nice strong magnets, small size. Nuts, I need fifteen word minimum to submit this review, okay, that gets me there.

Magnets were used to hold signs onto walls and metal shelving. They work great, either in front of sign or attached to the back with blue tape.
USPS had problem delivering but the seller (magnetman) immediately resent order. He is an reliable and honest man.

Really strong magnet but I found not all the magnets were of the same strength. Be careful with them though as they're extremely brittle (all magnets are...). After you attach them to something, cover the magnet with tape or cloth or something to protect it.

Got these for our kitchen fridge. It looks very nice on a steel surface. As expected, these neodymium magnets are super strong, and are difficult to get -off- the fridge unless we drag it toward the edge of the door and pull it off that way.

The surfaces are polished, but if you're super worried about even tiny scratches appearing on your fridge, perhaps go with some other heavy-duty magnets that are easier to remove without sliding...

They are OK magnets. I have had other neodymium magnets that are stronger than these ones.

I am using them to hold a power head in a fish tank but I had to use the whole stack just to hold it in place through .25 glass.
