These little magnets all arrived in very good condition. I have no disappointment with either their manufacture or their delivery. They are extraordinarily powerful little magnets, so much so that they're very difficult to pull apart, and they jump together very suddenly and solidly. Therein lies the problem: they're rather fragile, damaging and breaking easily. They are still a good purchase, all in all, just be as careful as possible with them.

Forget those wussy refrigerator magnets that'll barely hold up a sheet of paper. These 1/2" neodymium discs can supervise a 12-month calendar, your hand towel, pot holders, your heaviest kitchen knife, and the family cat. Holding knives is where they go to town. You don't need one of those bulky, unattractive counter-top knife quivers that take up so much space; slap these 1/2" disc magnets on the side of the fridge and stick your knife-blades to them. Those strip magnets made for holding knives work well, but they have to be mounted somewhere; the disc magnets don't, and they can be moved around. I've been using them this way for years, and they're the best. The knives are in easy reach, and the edges never touch anything that can dull them down. You pluck the knife you want, and the magnet stays put.

Other uses I rely on: Sticking a pen to the fridge. For sewing, holding scissors, pins, and items that you want handy. Hanging a curtain on a steel door. For home office area, they're great if you have any metal desktop organizers, but keep them away from jump drives and computer hard drive.

These very strong magnets are cool for craft projects. Strong pull even with wood laminations over it.

I've had these magnets for a while they serve the purpose I got them for. They are strong neodymium magnets. Just don't let your fingers get caught between them or they will hurt you.
Update: These magnets break in pieces around the round edges so perhaps they're not real neodymiums.

Seriously strong little magnets. I've pinched the skin on my fingers putting them together (ouch!), and they're nearly impossible to uncouple once two are attached to each other. Product arrived in record time, well packed in minimal packaging.

I used these extremely strong magnets on my fridge for pictures and notices. I have to slide them to the corner of the fridge door to pull them off as they hold so tightly.

we've made some costumes for halloween and used the magnets to hold on props that we grab and use in photos. they're strong enough and smaller than penny. just larger than an eraser head. and of course, being the adult children that we are, we've stuck them to everything in the house. i endorse these magnets for light uses.

These magnets have terrific holding power but measure just under 1/2 inch. For most people that would not matter but in our line of work it needs to be exact.

The seller shipped quickly. These are great for the fridge -- will hold even a smallish pamphlet with thick pages.

These are the magnets that used to be in a kids educational/construction type of toy. Young children (as they are inclined to do) swallowed some of the small parts and the very strong magnetic pieces were attracted to each other while in the children's intestines. This effectively glued the walls of the intestine togeter and before doctors could understand what had happened, children actually died. Keep these small magnets away from children. The best rough rule of thumb is that anything that can fit through a cardboard toilet paper tube is small enough to swallow.
