5.0 out of 5 stars Priceless moment, August 29, 2003

This review is from: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Vol. 7 (Paperback)
Evangelion Manga is really, really surprising. In vol 7, it shows some very incredible moments you never expect to see in the anime. If you really likes Evangelion, you have to buy this, because you are missing the big picture.
For the first time, ever, Shinji is really pissed off with his Dad, Ikari Gendo and gosh, what a way to show his anger...I was surprised! Also, Kaji tells Shinji one secret you will ONLY know in the manga!...
Read this manga now, because it is worth it...It costs around 15 bucks, but the moments here in this book are priceless...I cant wait to read the next volume!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, November 24, 2009
Even though the manga represents a shortened up and divergent version of the anime, In this volume we learn a lot more about Misato and Kaji. It is looking like Toji may have really gotten the ax. An of course the don't sit too well with Shinji, who is now seriously pissed at his father. But dose he share the blame for what happened? Asuka and Rei get the smack down. This is where we start to see just how much of a tough girl Asuka really is. And it seems that Shinji and Yui are gonna have that little talk of theirs but what will they say? Interesting how Gendo's reactions here differ from the ones we see in the TV show. But we kinda don't get to see it from his perspective in the show I guess. I think Misato keeps a more level head at this time than in the show, but we'll see if that's true in the next volume I bet. And there's a surprise appearance by a certain someone, we don't expect so soon. The extra material after the story is as engrossing as always. Makes me wanna go and do my own research.

4.0 out of 5 stars The secrets are revealed, December 27, 2008
Evangelion is one of the humanity's masterpieces. Just brilliant. This number starts to deep in the secrets of the organization called NERV. The only problem is that VIZ does not publish the color pages.

This review is from: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Vol. 7 (Paperback)
Man this is a great book! This book was so exciting that I wanted to read it again and again! If I were you I really would like to purchase this book if you are a crazy fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion. And yes this another book where Shinji says he doesn't want to pilot Unit-01 anymore and his friends talk him back into piloting Unit-01. Overall I really like this book.
