Let's say that you want to look up intubation equipment sizes or suction catheter sizes. Not listed in the index, or the appendix. You have to find that information buried in the critical care section. But on the positive side, if you need to quickly get the low-down on Chantix (a smoking cessation drug), that IS listed in the index. Unfortunately, questions about Chantix never really came up in the PICU or the NICU.
Oddly, there is a section included on CPR in this book. Really? I think that if you're the type of person to buy a respiratory care reference book, you probably don't need to read the flow chart for CPR. There is a lot of good information about pediatric medications, though.
For the high price of $25, this book simply was not worth it to me.

This book is just a hodge podge of information. There is little clarity or cohesion to the information and I personally have not found it useful. Read morePublished on August 2, 2013 by AM First Reviews
