Bought this to protect my new 11 inch MacBook Air while carrying it in another bag. I was unsure if the MacBook Air would fit in this case but am happy to report that it does.

The case is made from neoprene, maybe 1/16" thick. It's not going to protect your laptop from drops, but against scratches it will do the job. Inside the case features a 1/4" foam insert to provide rigidity and additional protection. This is a nice addition, but does make the sleeve thicker. The insert is not attached to the case itself and can be removed if added width is needed to fit your laptop.

Across the top the case has a flap to hold the laptop in while inside the case. No clasps, zippers. or velcro to scratch up the outside of your laptop. Inserting and removing the laptop from the case requires a bit more effort than I'd like, specifically the flap needs to be pulled pretty tightly in order to properly close (this could be due to the size of the Air).

Fit wise, for the 11 inch Air it isn't perfect. The case is a bit wide (maybe 1-1 1/2 inches) so the Air can shift around a bit. The height on the other hand is a bit too small - the Air tends to push up against the bottom of the case and the flap.

Not going to win any awards for looks - but it's a lot better than some case I've seen. Worth mentioning that this case does not say "Acer," "Aspire One," or anything like that on it.

Overall a decent enough case and you really can't beat the price. If you need something to mainly protect against scratches, this fits the bill.

I bought this cover along my Acer netbook because I wanted to solve the protection issue right away, not having to look for another cover somewhere else. The sleeve is nice but overall I found it too thin.

I don't feel it protects much. This is one item that probably I would not buy if I felt that on my hands. But I was looking for something a little better.

However, it can be used with no problem is if you will keep the netbook inside your bag for transportation.
