This is a good, serviceable case, but the Zi8 just barely fits; there's no room in it for the little flexible tripod. You can sort of hook it onto the side pocket, but it doesn't fit inside the pocket. If you can find a roomier case, that would probably be better. The tripod seems fine; haven't used it yet. It's stable enough to sit on any flat, solid, firm surface. And its flexibility makes it easily adjustable for different angles.

One of the few adds for ZI8. Provides protction from water so I feel great knowing my camera will be protect at all times. the wirst strap is detachable so i can take it off whenever i dont want to use it. I use the front pocket to store my memory cards.

The case holds my Zi8 just fine. I use the Mini Tripod as a handle for the Zi8.

Delivery: the items were well packaged and came quickly.
Product expectations: I got what I expected with the case, but the tripod was much better than expected. It's a true tripod with rigid legs, so it's both stable and flexible to where it can be adjusted. I will recommend this product to others for sure.

My wife had bought me the Zi8 for my birthday along with a case. It didn't really fit the camera, zippers met at the top and was rubbing up against the camera, very tight fit. Decided to replace with this one and don't regret at all...Fits very well, has a front pocket and came with a tripod to boot...can't beat that!!! The case is well made and protects the cam which is what i wanted...

This is a fairly simple combo set. It works as intended and safely secures the camera. The mini tripod is alway good to have while traveling.

I gave this one a three star review because really the case itself is great. A slightly tight fit, extra pocket for a spare battery and card. But, my zipper pull broke.

The little tripod works and it's nifty.

I have a Kodak zi8 and went with this combo based on the reviews and because I thought I was getting more for my money (a bag and a tripod), I was wrong.

To be fair the Neoprene Glove case is just that, a Neoprene case.. and by that I mean that is not very protective (in case of drops etc). It might help prevent scratches and the belt strap might useful, but there probably are better cases out there for this camera. I gave this combo (case & tripod) 2 stars because the Neoprene case at least is decent. The Zi8 fits properly inside it (some might say a bit too tight of a fit, but I think it fits properly (I wouldn't want the camera inside the case to move freely all around). As a matter of fact you might be able to fit something else along with the camera (perhaps a couple of SD cards) or a cable. This is because the camera fits tightly in one of the sides (it has like a pocket where you put the camera) but altogether when the case is closed there is little spare room (enough for one more accessory (depending on size) as I said before).

Now the bad thing about this combo is the tripod. It is made of very cheap material and I was very disappointed since I first took it out of the box. As a matter of fact the package where it came was not sealed but at least I didn't find any signs of previous use on it. The thing looks like a very cheap, plastic protractor. I realize now that the pictures are not very clear as far as the tripod goes in the products page and might be for a reason. The worst part is not that it looks and feels so cheap, the worst part is that it doesn't even work. I attached the Zi8 properly to the screw that it has on the little plate at the top and extended the 3 legs, but to my surprise it doesn't even balance itself.. It won't stand still by itself. I tried regulating the aperture of the legs and everything (within the limited range that it offers) but was not able to get it to work. It is worth mentioning that this tripod was not designed specifically for the Zi8, instead it says in the packaging material that is supposed to work with any 35mm cameras and camcorders. The thing barely balances itself without anything attached to it and it just takes a slight flick to drop it, no way they expect the Zi8 or any camera to balance on that thing.

Like some other reviewer said the tripod looks like something you would buy in a dollar store and it still would be paying too much for it. Mine is going to the trash can after this review, I'm sorry but it is the truth.

If you still like the Neoprene case and you don't find anything better for an equal or better price, then this case might still be worth looking into. I wouldn't recommend these products as a combo though.

I had this case for my Kodak camera for a couple of months. It holds the camera, recharge/download cord, extra battery and extra SD card. Zippers work easy and lots of cushion. Great value and workmanship.

I bought this for the tripod which comes in handy. The case is not roomy enough to hold my camera equipment so I just just use the other case I bought for it, which is also small but easier to open and close. The case itself is ok maybe for something else but I like carrying my camera and other equipment in my purse. It's well made and some people would probably love it but my old case has a shoulder strap which is more convenient for me.
