Only Vividly Frightening Nightmares,
By Swamp Fox "SwampFox" (The Looking Glass) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
A Review of Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 And The Return Of The Watchers by Thomas R. Horn
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."--From Hamlet (I, v, 166-167) Over the last 100 years, it has been well documented that there are things happening in our world that just cannot be explained. Actually, it has been going on much longer than 100 years--in reality, since the beginning of time itself. Conventional science has maintained, and would have us to believe, that nothing is going on--other than over-active imaginations or those suffering from severe cases of ADD. However, there are just too many witnesses and sources that have verified that many of these are real occurrences. The many sightings of UFOs, otherworldly beings and strange creatures by reliable witnesses have really happened. But, if they're real, what are they? Some would have us to believe that these beings and those controlling the unidentified objects are simply benevolent beings that only wish to help humanity. But is that the case? Or, is it all part of a grand scheme of deception? In his new book, Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 And The Return Of The Watchers, Tom Horn delivers a wealth of research and information, both historical and current, that these are not benevolent creatures from another galaxy. Rather, they are ancient, evil beings from the spiritual dimension. Tom Horn holds no punches in describing what he believes, in light of the Bible, are the plans of these beings. There are no flights of fancy here, only vividly frightening nightmares that few wish to accept as being real. We have a hard time comprehending how evil, evil really is. So, instead of accepting the truth, we tend to dismiss it out of hand. But, it's hard to dismiss what is actually taking place when it is placed directly in front of you as it is here. No one can deny that current events are rapidly leading us to an extraordinary and potentially cataclysmic event. And, if Tom Horn is right, then surely we are living in the Last Days as described in the Word of God.

FANTASTIC RESEARCH FOR END TIME AWAKENING,
By Dave Rumsfeld (Illinois, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
Thomas Horn does a thorough job researching the topic of the Nephilim. As we embark on this global awakening, we see a steady flow of revelation on this subject from the New Age community and Christian community. But often times, the New Age works present the Nephilim hybrids/aliens as wonderfully helpful beings traveling physically from some star system in space to help poor dying earth... but that contradicts all ancient records of our ancestors.
So it is nice to see someone compile the data about these menevolent entities who have always sought to deceive and enslave humanity. Even though the mainstream tries to ignore and debunk the concept of any higher life forms altogether, this work makes it frighteningly clear that we need to wake up as a people and openly discuss the possibilities of an ancient hostile hybrid race. I like the authors bold outright style of informing us of the reality of spiritual / interdimensional beings. It reminds me of Patrick Heron's Nephilim and pyramid of Apocalypse. Both are a must-read for researchers of this subject. I also recommend another shocking and frightening expose that goes into great depth on the subject: Here's the amazon link: Mysteries of the Universe: A Revolutionary Commentary on UFOs, Aliens, Angels, Pyramids, Bible Codes, Reincarnation, the Antichrist...

Confusion and lack of commitment! A money waster in the extreme!,
By Ghostrealm2000 "Simon says:" (New Zealand) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
There may be truth in this book but it is delivered in such poor fashion as to render it to the ranks of sub-science fiction.
Firstly the author never commits to a position. He at times seems to be a creationist and at others an evolutionist. He moves between the camps of Secular and Christian like the very serpent he is trying to identify. So are the Nephilim the offspring of the Sons of God (Angels), Demons, Aliens or some mutant hybrids? Well if you read this book - you'll never find out. Secondly the author seems to think that his work of fiction is so real that it requires constant reference and review. I got to the point where I started skipping segments when I saw it was yet again a piece of the author's fictional book. Thirdly and I am sorry if I offend any of you out there - but the intent of the author is the purpose of any book NOT what you think it means. When I say the "sky is blue" I mean the "sky" is "blue". You can attempt to make the statement say whatever you want but what I said was the "sky is blue". When it comes to the Bible which this author quotes regularly or should I say he quotes the versions that suit his dogma (and yes he is a Catholic fan), he makes his interpretations fit his so-called facts and not the other way around. For example, in Matthew, Jesus states that he will build His Church and the gates of Hell will not stand against it. This author then uses the word "gates" and creates the what-if scenario (of which this book is full of them) of what if the gates of Hell are Stargates or Portals. He forces his viewpoint upon the text instead of allowing the context and the Bible to define itself. He clearly does not have even the basic grasp of Hermeneutics or any consideration other than what he wants to promote. Understand this author is listed as writing for Christianity today and therefore the above point is valid. Fourthly, why is it when you need to prove that a date has some form of validity you start measuring where things supposedly happened? In the book the author attempts to show that Roswell somehow has secret meaning in where the UFO crashed. Of course, in order to find this secret you must measure the distance from here to there etc. The only problem is that the measurements are in miles! What if the aliens used Jewish cubits or even worse the Metric System? Get real! You can make anything fit if you use the system of measurement of choice. Summary of the book before you waste your money: The Mayan calendar ends on the 21st of December 2012. According to Sitchin and Ancient Astronaut man old Eric V.D. and others the Nephilim are coming back (this is one area the author chooses to use the work of people that are so anti the Bible it is not funny - he should have quoted his fiction again instead). The Nephilim are going to continue their work on Hybridization but watch out the US Government has invaded Iraq, captured Babylon and now could have access to Nephilim DNA buried in a cave. The US are creating Super-Soldiers (wait I saw this in X-Files). They are going to mix the DNA of Human's with animals and plants - now you can grow your own vegetables right out of your own limbs - no more food shortage. The Nephilim could be fallen Angels but they could also be aliens because of the discovery of a planet out there - not named. (This is one of the areas of lack of commitment - which one is it?) If you have a good work of fiction - reference it over and over and over again in a work of so-called non-fiction. If you want something more accurate - read Chuck Missler's work on the subject (referenced in this work wrongly as John Missler). Personal note to the author - if you are going to use the Bible please read it. The Sons of God were the parents of the Nephilim not the Nephilim! Let the Bible interpret itself - there are passages over and over that talk about "gates", they are the central place for decision making not Demonic travel. And most importantly, the central figure of the Bible is Jesus Christ not the Nephilim. And most importantly - HE is still in control not the US Government, Nephilim or Anti-Christ. Don't buy this book - it is a waste of time. There is more truth in the series Stargate!

WOW, Thomas Horn's Book Nephilim Stargates is quite a shocking read and really you may have an awakening reading it. if you are at all interested in UFOs, UFO Occupants, Alien Contact, the New Age (or new age religions), The Bible, Bible Prophecy, Cover ups and conspiracy's this is a must read.
Many of the reviews have said this book is scary and me being Mr macho said NOWAY, before I read it, and I have to tell you the scenario proposed in the e pages of Nephilim Stargates is scary. While you are reading this book, the awakening that comes to you will be; wow that myth is true, Or truth backs up that myth, anyway. I can think of so many including Rip Van Winkle (missing time), Succubus (Alien abduction), the gods of Olympus (fallen angels and there "offspring" or genetic manipulation). It is quite stunning. Also you will get the distinct impression (awakening) that you have been being set up to believe in the antichrist god man who comes to save us my much of Hollywood's sci fi. Much of what we seen on X -files may be really happening. I would highly recommend this book and I would also look at Horns works sited list and check out those books as well (except for Dorsin's Bible Code its substandard work).

Great intro to the spiritual aspects of future technology,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
Thom Horn's book is a great compilation of his research over the past decade. The book deals with "sketchy" subjects like UFO's/Nephilim, transengenics, eugenics, and future technology. Some will write him off as a "conspiricy theorist", but this book is really an open invitation to confirm the research and documentation for yourself. This book is a great point of departure to do a little digging and discover if this is just fiction or not.
As a Christian, this book is especially useful because these are subjects that are not even whispered about in Christian circles, yet they are being trumpeted in popular culture, and even coming to pass in the scientific community. If you are new to science and future technology, your first reaction will likely be one of disbelief and sarcasm. Don't judge the information until you've spent some time educating yourself on these subjects. Concerning the prophetic implications that Thom Horn lays out, this book isn't an "inspired" prophetic book of the Bible, but it is of value because it exposes important(and Biblically relevant)subjects that aren't being widely discussed.

Too New Age for me,
By J. Mahon (Heartland of America) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
I bought this book after reading Patrick Heron's wonderful book "Nephilim and the Pyramids of the Apocolypse" and was realy disappointed.
Horn's book stays within the same theme as Heron's book, (beings mixed DNA with pre-flood humans) but for me, that is the only thing they have in common. Where Heron's book stays within a Christian theme (the beings were fallen angels, led by Satan) Horn mixes New Age themes and it becomes a bit confusing. Horn describes both fallen angels AND super-intelligent beings from other planets. Does he think they are the same?? I really don't know. He mentions fallen angels, UFO's and ET's as if they are separate entities. There is no message of salvation in "Nephilim Stargates". In fact, I really didn't come away with any message except something bad is coming our way and the world is ending in 2012. If I wasn't a Christian and didn't believed in salvation, I would probably come away from the book with a sense of dread and hopelessness. Maybe I misunderstood the book thinking it was Christian, so it could be my fault. He does quote Scripture, but some of the quotes were nothing close to what I referenced in my KJV Bible. In fact, some quoted scriptures seemed to be completely rewritten, or completely misinterpreted. Very dangerous to me. He does quote a lot from other authors and even devotes a large section to his fictional book he has written on this subject. I would pass this one up and instead, read Patrick Heron's book I referenced above.

Not really impressed,
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
The first half of the book was good. Then it fell flat. Horn sounded like a new age spiritualist trying not to sound like a new age spiritualist. Along with the errors, like getting Chuck Missler's name wrong and chopping up verses in the Bible to fit his explanation. I would recommend reading Chuck Missler's Alien Encounters.

Couldnt get past the 4 page introduction.,
By MykDude (Huntsville, Al) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers (Paperback)
If you are going to jerk my chain in the introduction than there really is no reason to continue. Where do these guys come from? The failed science fiction authors guild?? You start to do internet searches on these authors and you find yourself in a loop of cheap self promotion all in the name of "secret" knowledge. The idea that our government is so organized and calculating, to keep such information hidden for so long can only come from the minds of those who have never worked for the government. The president can't even get sexual favors in the White House without getting caught, something I think a super being could get away with.
Problems I encountered in the introduction include: 1. The book opens with a quote by Francis Schaeffer which would lead the reader to think that he agrees with the basic premises outlined in Mr. Horn's book. Smartly the author left the reference for the quote out of his book in attempts to prevent the reader from finding it in context and entirety. If one were to look at "Genesis in Space and Time" they would realize that (the late) Dr Schaeffer is conducting a Bible study through the first chapters of Genesis. At chapter 6:1-2 he acknowledges that there are two interpretations and he outlines both. The quote in Mr. Horn's book is the first interpretation that consequently, Francis Schaeffer rejects and continues his study from the second interpretation. Quoting Schaeffer in this manner is dishonest and irresponsible. 2. Who is Otto Binder? According to Mr. Horn Otto Binder is a former NASA employee that revealed to the world that various HAM radio operators picked up transmissions that the Apollo 11 crew spotted alien hokey pokey on the moon. An internet search brings up two major groups for Otto Binder. One is appropriately a writer of science fiction / UFO comic books and the other is the man who gets passed around conspiracy groups like syphilis at an orgy. Otto Binder died in 1974 and had a small NASA contract in the 60's for some pre-"Power Point" art work. My guess is that the two Otto Binders are one and the same. Where Mr. Horn paints himself in a corner is that he states Otto Binder gave "sworn testimony" to the fact. The term implies verifiable evidence with authority figures, dates, purpose, documentation and witnesses to the statement. None of which we are given. The other problem we run into with the amateur radio operator theory is that any researcher on the subject runs into a wall when trying to identify them. The most impressive story I have read concerns Larry Baysinger found in the Louisville Courier-Journal July 23rd 1969. It would seem that he WAS successful in monitoring the Apollo 11 and when you read his story it becomes apparent that the accomplishment was not an easy thing to do. One of Larry's main goals for doing this was to catch NASA and the government in some sort of cover up but in the end his independent verification matched up with what was released on television. 3. Who is Maurice Chatelain? We are told he is a former chief of NASA communications systems and that he confirmed that the Apollo 11 UFO sightings were common knowledge around NASA. (Other sources attribute much more to him) Fortunately for us...it is impossible to be a NASA employee, much less a chief of communications, without substantial evidence. Verifiable questions that must be answered in such a case would be: When was Mr. Chatelain a chief of communications systems? What space flight center was he attached to? Was he present during the original transmissions? If he was, what was is role at Houston? Did he have a key to the gold crapper?? Strangely enough the only legitimate search I can find on Mr. Chatelain is that he has a book to sell on Amazon.com that looks very similar in nature to Mr. Horn's. His first attempt at selling such a book was back in 1978. This led to his appearance (IMDB) on the then popular show "In Search Of"........? You guessed it, Earth visitors. I think some would find his mini biography on the IMDB site interesting. 4. Who is Christopher Kraft? Mr. Horn tells us that he was the director of NASA's Houston tracking base at the time of Apollo 11 and that he is credited with releasing even more transcripts following his retirement. Once again these are issues that require a little bit of proof. In 1969, Kraft was named deputy director of the Manned Spacecraft Center (hardly a tracking station). Anyone wanting to read an impressive career with Space Flight you should check out Christopher Kraft on Wikipedia. This guy DID have a key to the gold crapper!! You don't get the impression that this is a disgruntled employee who is going to jeopardize a nearly 40 year career and a sweet retirement (1982) by releasing "secret" transcripts to a bunch of conspiracy nuts. If there was such a "credited" release of information a reference to when, why, where and how is in order. 5. The deleted transcripts? If asking the hard questions about the people involved doesn't bring a cloud of doubt over the transcripts it should also be pointed out that the protocol of these mysterious transmissions do not follow with the other 874 pages that NASA has released on the Johnson Space Center web page. In other words when a missing piece of the puzzle is placed it should complete the picture not distort it. Two glaring examples from Mr. Horns' transcripts deal with the words "Control" or "Mission Control" and "repeat" (as in repeat your last transmission). In the 874 pages of Apollo 11 transcripts Misson Control is NEVER referred to as "Control", the proper call signs are Houston and Apollo 11. Also, the call sign "interference control" is highly suspect. The word "repeat" is never used as a call to re-say the last transmission; it is "say again". Some would say this is a minor thing when you are freaking out over hoards of moon base aliens, however, anyone who is familiar with government or military radio communications knows that the rules and protocols are very strict. Over time these become second nature to a seasoned communicator (like an astronaut). To have this many problems with Mr. Horn's 4 page introduction is a bad way to start any book. I feel that to start with such a poor frame of reference can only mean worse times ahead. I could only recommend something like this to someone who is doing research on low grade conspiracy theories. If at all possible get it used or free.

This is a very valid and well written book in regards to explaining the very probable connections between modern day UFOs, Nephilim, fallen angels, end times Biblical prophecy, some of the wonders of the world such as the Pyramids etc. and quantum physics. I highly recommend anyone interested in end times prophecy and what could be the "great deception" that's coming on the world, as mentioned in the Bible, to get a copy of this book and read it.
