This review is from: Neptune: The Eighth Planet (Countdown to Space) (Library Binding)
This book is written for younger children, probably 4-10. It is clearly written. Not having been to Neptune, I can't confirm accuracy of content. ;) but I find that facts are the same as those in other books on Neptune, within a reasonable degree of variance. Its hardback made from quality paper, binding is good, contains lots of drawingd and photos for children's attention. As the book is written for children, it is short. Topics include historical figures, instruments, system, moons, etc. Its a wide range. It's an excellent book through which to introduce children to Neptune, a very good book for inclusion in children's libraries. I think the $23 new price is too much but I also believe that the < $1 used price is too low. I give everything a grade, and this book I give an "A-".
