I think that as far as nerf herder goes this is probably their best album i pop it in i am always surprised how good it is. Not really "punk" or even "pop-punk" more like new wave mixed with some cheesy 80's metal and some some old school 70's punk. Songs like Golfshirt, Nosering girl, Van Halen and Diana are gonna be favored by the dweebs and geeks for its self depricating and witty sense of humor.

I Had to import my copy, since Arista never thought it was necissary to release this gem over here.

And it's a SHAME because this is one of the best damn records ever.

Simply because the songs are catchy as hell, and like I said on another review, Parry Gripp is the funniest man alive.

The lyrics are hilarious. "Sorry I jacked off outside of your window, thought you were sleeping, i thought you'd never know." Is just one example of the fun.

VAN HALEN, is a tribute to one of the greatest guitar players ever. Well, sort-of. Sammy Hagar get's the full load here "Sammy Hagar, is this what you wanted man?" Too bad it never got any airplay over here, it could have been a hit here too.

Nerf herder's debut is also their best album. "How to meet Girls"

gets close but I always thought they did a better job as a trio.

I saw Nerfherder with The Hippos, and they were so awsome, I had to order this CD! I have both the CD's now, and I think both of them are really excellent! I hope they keep the music comming :)

This CD is the coolest. Usually when I first hear a good song, I am like "This song is so cool" but then a couple weeks later it doesn't sound as good as it first did. But after first hearing the CD over a year ago and listening to the CD all the time, I am still not tired of it and I probably will never get tired of it. I especially like "Sorry". I used to just have the 10 mp3s of the songs on the album, but then I decided to just go ahead and buy the album since it is so good and Parry Gripp(lead singer) is the coolest person I know.

Though it can be criticized for having only 10 songs, none of the songs are fillers...all are great examples of geek rock (kind of like Weezer but more upbeat and tons funnier!). Nerf Herder will probably remain low profile for as long as they're around, which is sad because they make excellent music! Check out the samples of "Van Halen", "Down on Haley", and "Golfshirt" and you should be sold on their greatness!

AWESOME CD! I first heard them a few years ago. I looked for the CD everywhere I could, but at 13 years old I had some difficulty finding it. About a year ago I finally got copy of the CD and it was as badass as I remembered. For the past year I have listened to it everyday. This CD is definitely worth the money. The lyrics are super funny. The instrumental playing is simple yet the music is incredibly good. BUY THIS CD. It's gotta be 10 fold better than whatever else you were looking at.

If you like Geek Rock, Punk Rock, or Ska, this is A CD you should get. I have a friend who bought a burned copy of this awesome CD and I could not get it out of my head. We listened to it constanly, while doing everything. We also like ALL the Blink-182, Lsss Than Jake and Catch-22. Limp Bizkit is cool, too.
This CD is what I listened all through the winter of 99 and it was and still is the best. I deffinitly reccomend this CD.

This cd is really great, you will love it if you love the likes of weezer. I would give it five stars, but since it is only about 30 minutes, its a little disapointing. It makes me angry when bands make poor college students such as myself pay so much!
