Nerf Dart Tag Hyperfire Deluxe 2 Player Blaster SetThis game is a blast! Blasters hold lots of darts and shoot all the way across the house! Yet, the darts are safe and don't damage anything. My boys love dart tag...way to go Nerf! Vests are actually moving scoring targets. Glasses are for safety...and their really cool looking. This is the perfect Christmas gift for any boy over 5 or so.

This toys is awesome! Got it for my son's 10th birthday. He wanted ANOTHER set so more of his friends could play together. Now we have four guns and me and my husband play too!!! It is super fun and we've had them for two years now.

The price (under $20) I paid for the set at Amazon was awsome! Best value for boy's toys for a long time.
I agree with most of Amazon.com Review. My 9 year old son, his class mates, and his dad, all have lots of fun with them.
They don't use the vest much though. They just like shooting each other and stick the dart to opponents' clothes (it sticks well to fleece).
The set comes with plenty of darts but the extra darts are easy to find at the local discount store.

My 6 year old son, my 27 year old husband, my 21 year old brother, and many more have thoroughly enjoyed this Nerf set. It definitely encourages activity, and I love the sound of my son's laughter as he and my husband chase each other around the house. The vest and glasses are a really nice touch! The darts shoot fast but are very soft and do not hurt. My son also likes to hang up the vest to practice shooting at the targets. This is a great toy for many ages!!

This was the absolute best toy I could have purchased for my oldest son. He asked for the smaller one, but after reading reviews about how that gun sticks, I decided to go with this one. Also, I have 4 children so they can all play with this toy. They've had so much fun shooting each other. I want to make an indoor wall target for them out of fleece because the darts stick very well to that type of fabric. As for the educational value - my children love to pretend play and so they are using their imagination and interacting with each other - not to mention the exercise they get running from each other.

I purchased the Nerf Dart Tag for my seven year old son. He and I have had so much fun playing with this toy.

The glasses are cool and fit even my head. The vests fit my son very well and are okay on me. The bullets are great because they are durable and dont bend easy. They have velco on the tips which makes them stick and not hurt.

The gun itself is small enough for little hands but big enough for adult hand. The gun can be reloaded very easy and you do not need a lot of strength to do it.

I did purchase this item at the local walmart for $21.00 after Christmas sale.

I would reccommend the Nerf Dart Tag game to kids starting at six years old and up to 100 years old. Anyone boy or girl can do it. It is a great crowd pleaser and relieves stress. It helps your child with hand eye coordination and counting (the bullets).

So this pacifist mom who would not let her son point a stick at her and had "no guns" as a permanent answer to relevant questions saw this toy on Amazon, read some reviews and just couldn't resist. Gotta tell you, it beats the reviews. On more than one occasion over the past couple of days, we had a blazing battle between my 9-year-old, his dad and his aunt and uncle. All over the house, and quite raucous. I also liked the time when my husband and my son were stalking each other outside, around the house, with the idea that whoever struck the other's target first would win. It was hilarious to watch from inside. This was probably the most fun present we bought this Christmas. Tips: Wear the goggles, the only body part I would worry about would be a direct strike to the eye from close up. Also, if a dart lands on top of a wood stove, it will melt into a pitiful little heap. Also, darts stick quite well to wool.

This a good set for a couple of boys, as long as you have them wear the included goggles. This is really not for kids younger than about 7, as they may have trouble cocking the gun (the guns are not automatic, you have to cock them before each fire). The big guns hold 10 'soft' bullets each, they fire quite well, and are fairly accurate. Make sure you tell the kids to wear the goggles, to stand back far enough, and not to point the guns at anyone not in the game. The bullets can sting a little if you get hit in the cheek, I think boys don't mind this though. You actually get 4 guns, two of the 10-shot, and two single shot handguns. There are also two vests for scoring games, and the bullets stick to them quite well. It's funny to see the bullet rocket through the air and stick straight out from it's target on the enemy's torso. You know when you've hit your target! As stated, the goggles are absolutely NECESSARY, I wouldn't want to get hit in the eye with one of these.

The fact that you get multiple nurf guns make this a good deal by itself. However, the nurf guns are made surprisingly well and perform better than expected. The darts are designed to stick to the vest that comes with the set so when the darts hit your head you'll definately feel some impact for a few seconds. Don't worry, they're not powerful enough to leave a mark on your skin. Definately protect your eyes though as they will come at you fairly fast.

Overall, good buy, fun activity!

Wow. My 11yr old DAUGHTER told me that this was the greatest game EVER. Since Santa dropped this at our house, my daughters and I have spent way too much time running around the basement, shooting each other. We have had some nerf related injuries: my knees feel like they are going to go out and we've had a few stings on the face and neck where we've gotten a little exuberant in our playing... All in all, this is a great game and has given us a bunch of exercise. I strongly recommend using the protective eyewear. Now if we could only find all the darts that we've shot around the basement, life would be perfect.
