This nerf gun is one of my favorites.

Considering you have to pump it and load it, just to shoot, it takes the fun out of it when you only get two darts to fire each time.

Like most Nerf blasters this is a fun blaster.

So I may be a bit Nerf obsessed right now since this is the 7 Nerf product I have purchased in as many weeks. I now have the majority of the N-Strike collection and the Magstrike is a fine addition. It is not like the Longshot, Recon, Vulcan, ect.
Like most Nerf blasters this is a fun blaster. It lets loose a hail of foam darts in just a few seconds. Unlike the other blasters that are primed with a spring-plunger mechanism, this blaster is much like a Supersoaker. A bladder is filled with air via a pump and the pull on the trigger lets the darts fly. A nice feature is that it does fit all the different types of darts Nerf makes. And this being at least third generation (I know that there was a Dart Tag version and the Iron Man version) there are some out there used.
I like this blaster, its a kick letting the 10 darts it holds fly at some unsuspecting target.

This is another great success by the NERF company!!! This weapon has an extremely rapid fire, and yet the bullets do not hurt at all. This will make friends utter a bunch of wows! This weapon is not meant to be "educational", hence receives a lower grade in this topic. This NERF weapon will not dissapoint.

This pumping machine gun is awesome! It fires 7 darts per second and each clip holds 10 darts. I think you can do the math of how fast it shoots a clip. It is light and portable. Great for ambushing your opponent. You can have a easy and fast reload because there are two clips. The pumping handle is not flimsy like the Nerf Rapid Fire 20. It is also easier to pump than the rapid fire 20. All in all this gun is amazing, and I would say it is Nerf's 3rd best gun ever made behind the firefly and longstrike. I would totally recommend it to a friend. Keep it up Nerf!

I am a hardcore Nerf player so I know a good gun from a bad and this is easily classified as a very good gun. 10 dart clip pump action that shoots 7 darts per second and only has to be pumped 27 to 32 times unlike the rapid fire 20 you have to pump it 75 times. So over all a grate gun hilly recomendid.

I got one of these for my nine year old son yesterday. He LOVES it! He likes it because it shoots really fast and has quick reloading. It uses air power and he shot it at me. It is very powerful. It is everything he wanted in a Nerf gun.

I just got my Magstrike in the mail yesterday and was very satisfied. I was thinking of purchasing the nerf longshot for $32, but then had second thoughts because of all the bad reviews. The magstrike is a lot of fun. Firing off 10 darts in less than 2 seconds is a big plus. Even the Nerf Vulcan can't do this. In my opinion this is the perfect gun if you need to shoot 2 or 3 people very quickly. The downside to the Magstrike is that you need to pump the gun about 30 times to get optimal results, but once you're ready to go it's a pretty sweet gun. This gun is absolutely worth $20. So (in my opinion) if you had a choice to get either the Nerf Recon or the Magstrike, I would definately choose the Magstrike.

This nerf gun is one of my favorites. I'll do a pros and cons list instead of boring you with details.

~PROS~

Rapid fire - this gun launches a rapid stream of 10 bullets at your target. I also figured out that if you press the trigger and then let go, you can fire 2 or so at a time. the longer you hold it, the more it fires.

Magazine - the magazine is a very great part of this gun. Unfortunately, this is the only gun that uses it. it allows you to put 10 bullets in it and store it if you don't need it immediately. You can also clip it on your belt.

~CONS~

Reload time - By the time you have collected 10 bullets and pumped it 22 - 32 times, you'd be shot about 20 times by someone else with a pump loading gun like the clip system guns.

Well, that's about it. I hope you consider this gun. Please note this is NOT a good 1st nerf gun. If your looking for a 1st nerf gun, try the Recon/Longshot if your budget is bigger, and Maverick/NightFinder if your budget is tight. Happy Nerfing!!!

Great gun, especially effective if you do things like pump it only 3-4 times to give it a three-shot burst. Durable and fun for games.
