This toy is soooo tight! I love this thing! I dont care what anyone thinks, that laser is incredible! I bought this thing for like five bucks, and it is the coolest Nerf gun I've ever used! Spend some time fine tuning the laser light (it comes with a cardboard target)and you will have hours of fun. You can compare the accuracy to like a sniper rifle, only pistol sized. It's super fun at night, and great for sleepovers or raids, night and day. It may look like just a pistol, but this buggers range is great by my standards(dont hold me for blame if you disagree). I wish I could go higher than five stars in the above fun section, because it definitlly deserves better. I don't really know what they want me to say about education, I mean it is a gun. A lot of those fun hating people would say it "induces violence", but what are they trying to do, make it look like playing with foam darts is gonna make us some insane, trigger happy whack jobs?! I guess it's sorta educational if you want to be a marine. Well, anyhoo, this toy is awesome, the plastic is really high quality. I mean, dont drop it off any skyscrapers, but it will take a beating. The best part is really the price. I just saw it in some store for a few bucks and bought it. Hey, you can't go wrong with a laser targeter, right? As you can see by my review, I was extremely pleased! Wow, I've written that much! Geez, I wish my litterary analysis was on nerf guns. So in the end, buy this thing, it is the best Nerf gun ive ever had. It's way better than that "Scout" gun on the N-Strike (though the Titan piece does look pretty sweet).

This NERF gun is incredible out of the box. The light is not necessarily practical, but the coolness factor is high. Of recent NERF releases, this is one of the best.

For older 'kids' out there, you can mod this gun quite easily for Nerf wars.

One minor complaint that I also saw in another review was that my battery screw stripped very easily. But that is a minor issue compared to how much fun this toy is.

I spent at least an hour and a half battling with 2 friends throughout my dorm with these guns the other night.

My friend has this awesome gun and I loved it. I was in the dark and we took turns shooting each other. My friend had a good idea - put rubberbands on the pull back thing. It kiterakky FLYIES through the air. I think you might consider buying this Nerf Gun.

When I bought this gun, I was like, "Ok, for 8 bucks I'll take it." I thought the laser sight would be a piece of crud, but I was amazed. It actually makes a dot even 20 feet away. If you adjust the sight right, it's dead acurate. If you're looking for a sweet nerf gun with awesome acuuracy, get this. (Fun to annoy siblings with).

Hey, if you havent bought this yet, then what the heck are you waiting for? Go get it. I love how it has got laser sight. That way, I just go bam! bam! bam! without a problem. Unless your stupid cousin moves around like an idiot (lol). But really, it is a good toy. I'd say it has no educational value, but it is really fun shooting other people though it says not to. I don't follow directions (lol). Your child will love this. Oh! May I reccomend that you buy a bunch of these for a birthday party and give them to all the guests and make two teams, turn out the lights, and shoot each other until a team wins! Trust me, I'm not a boring guy. Your children will love this idea. Unless you know, They are just school nerds who'd rather play a trading card game tournament. Hope you guy like my idea!! Have fun with the War! that is, if you decide to have a war. Plus, I think you should give the guns away as a party gift (for coming). Tell me if I just said what your gonna do at your party coming up! (...)

If you are looking for a nerf gun that works anytime of day this one's yours.

The laser's not too good but not bad. Since gravity still effects the darts alot

if your shooting from long-range you'll have to estimate by how far away you are

from the target for how far up you aim above the target. Actually if you're 6

feet away you'll still have to aim above the target.

Other than that it's 4 stars.

ALSO:

Be careful not to squeeze the darts because if they

get bent they won't go in the gun very easily at all.

IF THEY STILL GET BENT:

You can take a pencil/pen/small

thin cylinder to straighten them. If the top comes off do not worry.

Keep straightening them. Then you can glue the top back on(superglue is best).

I have 3 children ages 5, 9 & 23. Santa left these under the tree and they all three LOVE THEM--They played with these all day on Christmas Day--even though that had lots of other new things to play with. It has a "red laser" light to highlight their target--so even when they were not shooting, they would have fun shining the target light. Make sure you buy extra 3 inch Micro Dart Packs--they lose darts and some of the darts eventually break. I'm going to buy this Nerf toy as birthday party gifts. I highly recommend this Nerf gun toy!!!

First off, I would like to say that I am a Nerfer, a paintballer, and I love music and remote control stuff. Secondly, I wrote reviews for the Nerf N-Strike, Nerf Cyclotron, and the book "Science Notebooks". The Nerf Nite Finder is great! It shoots 35 feet OUT OF THE BOX! Now that's range we haven't seen from Nerf guns IN OVER 10 YEARS!!! And that's really cool because this gun is ONLY 6 DOLLARS! My modified Nite Finder shoots over 50 feet, and I've only put 9 dollars into it! BUY THIS GUN, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! This is my favorite along with the Nerf N-Strike system!!! You should buy this from a local Toys R Us or Target though, because it will be only 6 dollars there and there will be no shipping cost ($8 plus shipping here)

For $8, I thought, this must not be that great. I bought 2 on the spot, and took them home. Boy, was I wrong.

Out of the box, it's already got some great distance, but once you modify it, you can get double that. Band it for an extra 10 or 15 feet. Of course, the light os only useful at the stock(out of the box) distance. So what do you do? Cut it off. It takes half of the weight off the gun, and it will fit into a holster. This is an easy gun to modify, shoot, reload, and cock.

If you're debating on buying this, wait no longer.

For the price this is one of the best nerf guns you can get. With some simple modification (ie rubber bands to make it pull in faster, to bigger springs and taking out the air restrictors) it can be a great gun.

In stock form it also has the benefit of being fairly silent, while still shooting a decent distance and being accurate. The led "laser" sight once adjusted is also fairly accurate, although whenever I lay the gun down the adjusting arm hits something and becomes off again..so pretty much worthless.
