Its a pretty good product and my son has a lot of fun with it, but the net never stays in place. After the ball hits the hoop a couple of times, the net starts coming off and after a few days we decided to just leave it off as it was not worth the trouble. The hoop snaps into a slot on the board but its not easy to adjust the position either. Overall a fun game for the kid but has some minor drawbacks

My son suddenly got interested into basketball, he is 11 years old. He asked me to get him a basketball hoop. Now, basketball is close to my heart as I used to play high school varsity way back when and so I willingly bought it right away. I got it as part of his Christmas presents.

It is winter here and so there is no way to play ball outside and I thought this is just the right set for the time being. The basketball set comes with two board and hoops, 2 nets, and a Nerf ball. It is packed nicely in a combination bubble and box. It is not a completely rectangular box so you would have to improvise if you will wrap it as a present.

Setting them up is quick. All you have to do is attached the board plastic base with the built-in removable 2 sided tapes. I setup ours on opposite wall in different heights as the other one is adjusted to my smaller son's height. The board is made of cardboard but looks nice with some artworks. You just slide it down into the base. The hoop is made of plastic and you just need to snap it to the base of the board.

The ball is Nerf material so it is a little hard to control the bounce, practically just a bounce and shoot. But that is what I expected anyhow for he will mostly just shooting balls instead of one-on-one type of games.

The net is the weakest link to this product. It comes off too easily. You really have to do something or it will be too frustrating. I made a noose (a loop that binds tighter as you pull it) to attach to each of the hooks and it worked.

The netting will not stay on the hoops at all. My kids have just discarded the netting and only use the hoops.
