I lived in Zimbabwe when this movie first came out. The Theatres were packed while it was showing and it was very well done. I have been waiting for it to be released so I could see it again. This does a good job of depicting the clash of traditional culture with modern culture and how it can be handled and resolved without offending either culture.

One of the best films ever to come out of Zimbabwe. It carries a strong message for women everywhere and it gives you insight into that time period in day to day Zimbabwean life. This movie is best known for having the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi in it whom also recorded the soundtrack and was ever present in the movie singing and making the audience dance and swoon. A fun, sometimes sad, other times powerful movie. Please watch it.
