I also saw this band at First Avenue in Minneapolis. As a matter of fact we were laughing at the drum set. When the first notes were played of the first song, we felt stupid. These guys play their hearts out! Best band I have seen in along time! They defenetly rocked the house! You will not be disappointed for buying this CD!

I saw Fifty Seven Stitch open up for Tesla at First Avenue in Minneapolis in early March and was thinking they were just another of the many opening bands on tour, so at first I didn't pay attention to much of their music. However, anybody who likes guitar-driven hard rock would be able to like these guys and I found myself tapping my foot to the music. After the show, I bought their CD and all of them were nice enough to sign it for me! I bought it home and after playing it now for about a month, I can definitely say that it rocks! The create a hybrid style of modern rock that pays homage to the classic foundations that have made rock what it has been. I have heard some people say they've heard a little bit of Soul Asylum in their music, but they are definitely more rock than alternative. They can easily compare and compete with the Nickelbacks of the world if they were played as much as they are. My favorite tracks on the album are "One To Break", "Drown In The Air", "All I Ever Need" (a slower song), and "Paid to Die", but the whole CD is a good listen. Check it out and check THEM out if you get the chance! They DEFINITELY rock!
