5.0 out of 5 stars Uno de los mejores Discos de Rock. PUNTO

3.0 out of 5 stars El ultimo disco, December 7, 2004
This review is from: Nervio Del Volcan (Audio CD)

Canciones recomendadas: Afuera, Ayer Me Dijo Un Ave, Avientame.

5.0 out of 5 stars in a league of their own, April 22, 2002

This band is not only a great spanish rock band, They are the most creative, unique sounding band in the world today. You don't need to understand spanish to feel the greatness of this band. Their music speaks in all languages. Although to understand Saul's words is a plus. Their music touches the soul and since spanish is one of the most beautiful languages, it's no wonder god put these extremely talented musicians in the country of mexico. Someone said they are the spanish Beatles. I love the Beatles but Caifanes now called Jaguares have no comparison. They are in a league of their own.

5.0 out of 5 stars El Disco Mas Elaborado de Caifanes, May 1, 2000
By
This review is from: Nervio Del Volcan (Audio CD)

5.0 out of 5 stars ¡FANTASTIC ROCK EN ESPAÃ`OL! A CLASSIC!, April 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Nervio Del Volcan (Audio CD)
Caifanes (now Jaguares) were one of the greatest rock bands ever! Saul Hernandez has a beautiful, haunting voice, and EVERY SINGLE SONG ON THIS ALBUM IS GREAT. Do not hesitate to buy it even if you don't speak Spanish- Saul's haunting voice on the gothic tracks of "Hasta Que Dejes De Respirar" and "Avientame" will do all the talking you need. If you do speak Spanish, even better! If you get this album, you will never want to let go of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars La cumbre (high point) of roc en espanol, March 19, 1999
This review is from: Nervio Del Volcan (Audio CD)
this gringa says that roc en espanol moves her spirit, and saul hernandez's group does it better than anyone else. EL NERVIO DEL VOLCAN helped me realize that pop doesn't have to be an empty, superficial exercise. the first time i heard it on the dance floor at an 'antro' in MEXICO CITY, i knew i needed to hear more. there's a reason why this group has been embraced by los roqueros chilangos: it speaks, and not just through lyrics. after you've been bumping and grinding, listen to the last track--la llorona. then the CAIFANES will enter deep into your soul. i bet they'll stay there a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant. An album for all times., March 6, 2008
By
Alan Levin "mraL" (Green Point South Africa) - See all my reviews
Like all the albums that come from a place and time in your life, I fear that my review may be jaded. I always treasured my tape of this album, I was given by a Mexican friend with whom I traveled Peru and Bolivia. Its obscure and classic. Something that when you play, people will recognize it's appeal and wonder how they haven't heard it or say that they had heard it, but not remember the artist (well at least not in South Africa, for certain).

The last album from Caifanes. It was one os the saddest days in my life when I heard that Caifanes had split for good. A great c.d., good for any true rock fan.
